Now it's been a little bit top heavy, but it's been involving some great action, what we can expect from the Sweet sixteen, and what he's taking a look at in terms of smaller tournaments, the CBI and the n In the final segment, we do have three CBI games that are going to be going down and I'm gonna give you guys picks and analysis on all three of them as we had some bank shots. Now, let's take a look back at everything that we saw in college basketball on Sunday, try to find some trends and try to get to know these teams all a little bit better. The games for yesterday is Greg buzzing about. Here is the rowdy recap. It's a pretty another chucky day at the NCAA Tournament on Sunday as the only lower seated team to win with ole Miss, they absolutely take it to ioas State by account of ninety one to sub eight. Friday was eight. They go eight to twenty two from three, but Old Miss eleven of nineteen from three point range. They win the turner battle fifteen to eight. They do lose rebound metal thirty four to twenty nine, but you have Sean Badulla's tough to stats sheet twenty points eight a seive for steals for this ole Mioss team. They did commit twenty one fouls in this game, but I would say I will take full advantage as Joshua Jefferson with just six off eleven at the free f line, so Omass they're into sweet sixteen. One of the few favorites that did not cover was Maryland seventy two to seventy one. There's a lot of people are buzzing about Derek Queen, did he travel?

Did he not?

The official score says that he scored a bucket, so we will go with that. As for Maryland ten of twenty four from three and GAA played a heck of a game in this one. For Colrad of State, they go just five of twenty one from distance, but they were able to do a great job on glass, winning that battle thirty nine to twenty nine. During recent to have fifteen points eleven rebounds. But kwight Clifford stuff that said at twenty one points seven boards, six assists. You know bowen borne off the bench balles play ten points four boards. He went five of six from the floor. But in the end Maryland able to win this game, winning the turno battle by account of eight to six as well. And then you saw the chalkout. I posted this up on social media. If the NCAA tournament was a serial, it would be count Chockulaz. You did see this game. If you took the three and a half with Arizona, you go out there. If you laid three and a half with them, If you got north of four with Oregon as they closed as a four and a half to five point dog, he got there as well, eighty seven to eighty three.

The finals organized.

Nobody did bullying but themselves for not winning and covering this game twelve of twenty two at the free line, Jackson Chill said he was able to spy the team with twenty five points. He goes three of six from three point range. But Gaye Leblo boy was he film love five of seven from three twenty nine points nine rebounds for Arizona. They win the battle on the last forty four to thirty seven and play even up on the turnover battle as well, So Arizona they are onto the Sweet sixteen.

Also onto the Sweet sixteen. Kentucky, when the few.

Unders that we saw in any of the tournaments on Sunday eighty four to seventy five, they were able to take down the Illinois fighting a lione i for Illinois nine of thirty two from three in caspiros Jacky sonas three turnovers in the first five minutes of the game release at the Tonas. Illinois lost that turnover battle fourteen to five. They did win the rebound battle by a count of forty four to thirty six. But problem was Kentucky was eight of twenty one from three and Kobe Brea going twenty three big points in this one of Maury Williams. He was able to dish out six assists, ten boards, eight points, so he did a nice job stuff of the StatSheet himself. And for Saint Mary's as the underdog, they looked pretty lively in this game. Problem was they couldn't hit any shots. Eighty to sixty six Alabama with a rare under end or big time win. As for Alabama, they go seven to seventeen from three Saint Mary's twenty four out of seventy from the floor. They actually attempted more free throws in Alabama. They won the offensive rebound battle fifteen to eight. They won the turnover at eleven to six. They just couldn't throw it in there. And for Alabama, they didn't get a lot of transition as you were able to have pretty much five separate guys, actually six separate guys being able to give you ten plus points in this one. Very balanced effort from Alabama there onto the Sweet sixteen the one seeds role as well, though for Florida it was a little bit hairy for them seventy seven to seventy five to the final and if you like me, had the under nor with a twenty points scored in the final minute in this game, that's just rough bud for Florida, nine of nineteen from three Yukon just eight of twenty nine from the outside. Florida also lost a turner battle twelve to six. There was one place where they won this battle, though, and that was on the glass forty to thirty five. They do win that battle on Walter Clayton. He was able to get the team twenty three points.

Second.

Florida even went twenty two of thirty four at the free line, while yukon nineteen of twenty two at the Charity strape Leam McNeely twenty two points in this one, and he hit that three at the buzzer to be able to get you the over as well.

And then Duke.

They just looked all sorts of dominant against Baylor eighty nine to sixty six the final. Typically you don't see public teams being this good against the spread as Florida, by the way, with that non covered down twenty six and ten against the Pride. With Duke now twenty four and twelve against the spread, one of the bigger money makers for you in all of college basketball. We'll give a shout out to Cowra. I have State as well with their cover. They're now twenty three and thirteen against the spread. That is how they're going to wrap up this season. But except for this Duke bunch, they go twelve to twenty two from three point range. Another nice flag day eighteen points, six assists, nine rebounds Tybreesee Proctor twenty five points out of him as well as he went seven to eight from the outside. And then for Baylor, they lose this game despite having just five turnovers. They win the rebound battle thirty two to twenty nine. Is they grabbed eighteen offensive rebounds from mose. They shot thirty seven percent from the floors, so less in tremendous ara and then out there in the nit we saw some chaos as well as you did see the one seed and SMU go down to Oklahoma State eighty five to eighty three the final, as Oklahoma State has been a rough three point shooting team all season long, goes ten of twenty one from three twelve of twenty one FORMU. SMU wins the turner battle fourteen to ten. They do lose the rebound battle thirty seven to thirty four by for Oklahoma State fifteen to twenty two at the free flying seventeen of twenty nine for SMU, that is a big reason why they're not going to be moving on and advancing. He saw North Texas not get the cover against Arkansas State, but they do get a sixty five sixty three win. Kings of the NIT they do continue on and zut zod for the uc Irvine and Eaters they do not get to cover. They're now twenty two and thirteen against this pride, but they do get the win sixty six to sixty one over Jacksonville State. They were seven a half point favorites in this one, and this was a tight game throughout it as Justin Hoan was able to bail out u c Irvine. He had twenty two big points in this one. And then you did see a little bit more chaos with regards to the NIT bracket as UAB the Blazers, they take down Santa Clara eighty eight to eighty four. Fifty one to forty is what UAB outscored Santa Clara by in the second half. And for the Blazers eleven of twenty four from three point range of jone call his name, Aleandra Vasquez eleven points and then excel Andy Boorg twenty two points eleven of board seven assists of UAB. They find a way to get the job done, and so does Kent State. They go on the road. They take down Stanford by kunt of seventy seven to seventy five. Stanford they were just unable to win that battle on the Glass, losing that battle by a count of forty one to thirty eight. And for Kent State, they also win the tournamatal nine to eight, getting thirty four big ones out of Jalen Sollinger in this one. If you're looking at the CBI as well, we did see Illinois State knockoff Presbyterian, so they're gonna get a pot by on Monday seventy eight to seventy. But we'll be seeing Queens end see on Monday eighty five to seventy eight. They were able to get the job down out there, and then the Phoenix of Elon go down Army as this was the wild game of the day in my opinion, eighty three to seventy. Army was down at one point twenty points in this one, and then there was a massive bounds I charge in this game. As a matter of fact, Elon in the second half was up fifty one to thirty. Jalen Rocker goes up for twenty seven big points in this one. Army fourteen to forty from three point range. Elon won nine or nineteen from the outside, but Elon also lost a turnover rattle fourteen to five, So a little bit less than tremendous out there. And then you also saw to begin to day the Incarnate Cardinals, who began as the underdog then closed as a favorite. Well, they get a nice ninety two to eighty five win over the Jaspers of Manhattan, AZ for incardinate word just six to twenty two from three part range, but they win the rebound battle by count of thirty nine to thirty. And you had a double double twenty three points eleven rebounds out of Jordan Pike. And if you're looking trundwise at what we're getting in college basketball right now, overall for the season, it's been a little bit of an overwhelming season. Twenty eight hundred and fifty two overs to twenty seven hundred and eighty four unders ends for the year, Well, this has not been indicative of what we've seen over last week eight hundred and forty four two, seven hundred and seventy two and ninety eight against the spread, So underdogs for the year hitting add fifty points six percent. But if you look at all tournaments, the NCAA Tournament on it CBI, it has been Favorites Palooza going forty one, thirty six and one against the spread, and can tell you a lot of those undernegs if been cashing into the edit. And overall it's been a bit overwhelming forty overs, thirty five hundreds and we've had ourselves three pushes along the way as well. So that's where we're seeing college basketball right now. And that's what we all got on Sunday. Now, let's take a look at what we're going to be getting out Monday, the smaller tournaments, the Sweet sixteen, and so much more. He does great work with the show Slash podcast Rob's Best Bets. They get a look at this great game that we all know love of college basketball. I know he has done an absolutely tremendous job all season long. I'll be able to gauge all of this action. You're able to fall on Twitter Slash checks at rob dfb altogether and Rob, it's always a pleasure, my friend.

Thank you, Yeah, thank you for having me on. Greg.

We're pretty much on the Sweet sixteen after we finished recording today, and you know, a lot of great matchups because a lot of the higher seeds have advanced, and you know, just on paper, we're kind of in store for a really great slate of games on Thursday and Friday next week.

Yeap, Ben, I think that that's such an interesting point that you make, because there's a lot of people that are upset that we didn't get the Cinderella teams and everything like that. But I did feel like this was a top heavy season in college basketball coming in and it very much has played to form thus far, and that means that we're going to get the best teams that do advance into the later rounds.

Yeah, it's been very interesting because even when you look at the mid majors and the conference tournament winners from the mid major leagues, most of the great one seeds in those conference tournaments did end up winning their conference. But to your point, you know, the high majors that actually made the field this year, we're the ones that showed out and are continuing to perform well, you know as we move past around of thirty two here, and it's kind of a give or take in terms of the actual entertainment factor, right, we want to have those Saint Peter's runs, but at the same time, we don't want to sacrifice just that one off kind of upset for quality of basketball the rest of the tournament. Sometimes with like a team like a Fairley Dickinson or a UNBC that we've seen upset a one seed for example, they Pete her out in a really bad way in the Round of thirty two, and it almost feels.

Like a bye game. It's one of those things where it's definitely a giver or take yeap.

It certainly is probably would have liked to have seen a little bit more, shall we say, if fireworks with regards to the first round of the NCAA tournament, But it has led to some really good basketball thus far. And as we're recording this this Sweet sixteen, not quite say yet, but as of right now, it looks like we're going to get all four of those one seeds in. And I think that that's something that I was taking a look at prior to the tournament. Like I filled on my bracket, I had all four one seeds, and I just still look at things those four teams in Houston, Auburn, Duke of Florida. I think that those teams are going to be very tough to beat before the final four.

Yeah, and we saw a couple one seeds kind of struggle in their eight to nine matchup style games in round of thirty two, notably Florida, because Florida was a team that kind of felt like the juggernaut of the entire tournament.

They had the biggest wins.

They won the SEC championship game in that one to eight matchup against Yukon. Yukon was beating them for about thirty seven thirty eight minutes of game time.

That's just something that'll be kind of monitoring right now.

We don't know the result of Colorado of State Maryland and who Florida is going to necessarily be taken on in the sweet sixteen. But maybe if they're laying like a number like a fourteen and a half or something kind of juice or high up there like that, maybe you'd be a little bit pessimistic based on that last result.

Yeah, that would be interesting if we do indeedge Maryland, because if we do get colradut of State, I think that for corlradas Sate, even though it's been a really nice run for them, they won eleven straight games going to the game against Maryland, Man, I really think that they'd be up against it there. But I do think that that would be an interesting matchup with Maryland being one of the most shall we say, balance teams in all of college bask butall I think that that's such a big thing to look at coming into this time of year, too, Rob, because I know that there's a lot of people that you look for strengths, weaknesses, what have you. The big reason why I did like Florida coming into the tournament is because they are so balanced, and if we do indeed get Maryland, I think that that would be one of the tougher matchups that you'd be finding prior to the Final four because Maryland, out of all the none to one seeds, I felt like, was one of the most balanced seats in all of college basketball.

Yeah, and you know, even if they do get past you know, Maryland the very balanced team to your point, next round, the projected winner that they would be facing in the Elite eight is Texas Tech, which is basically like a souped up version of Maryland.

So it's not an easy path for Florida.

And I know that they were kind of the chalkiest pick in terms of odds. They had the shortest number that you were taking on the futures market. But man, we're kind of talking it out here, and when we just saw them kind of play susceptible against Yukon, I am less than bullish on them, just kind of running through the gauntlet and making it look easy a la Yukon from the past two years. That does make it a little bit exciting if you're talking about projecting a team to advance that isn't a one seed.

It is going to be such a fun look at the Sweet sixteen and so much more. As Rob donald Sinder does great work with the show Slash podcast Rob's Best Best Usual got to be right here on cost soups and when it comes to this time of the year as well, how much do you want to be waiting we say recent form versus the full season numbers, because I do think that it is interesting now that these teams are going to be able to get a few days off, now that they are going to be able to get a little bit of a break, because I do feel like in that first week of the tournament, a team can really run on momentum.

But when you get a.

Few days, when you get a chance to be able to sit back, relax, you have to travel out to your next destination. I do think that that does take the win out of the sales out of so many teams that might have gotten a little bit hot and might be shall we say, running a little bit on shall we say momentum.

Yeah, and you know one of those teams most notably that I thought Tick took advantage of the Gauntlet style of the first weekend, where there's only one day in between your games, and not only do you have kind of less time to prepare, but say, you know, a Saint John's and an Arkansas is playing in round two has less time to prepare and doesn't really have the shooters, which ended up kind of being a prevalent factor. Because what we'll see, I think is once we get down to the Elite eight or the final four, the most teams with the most balance are going to be the ones that end up kind of surviving or stand of the test. And I do feel like the Arkansas of the world, the Byus that we've seen advance already are going to be some of the teams that end up buying the dust pretty early.

Yeah, Ben, I do think that that is going to be such an interesting look. As joining me on the show, we do have Rob Donaldson, who does such great workover at the Robbins Especial Show joining me on Costco seeps in with Arkansas. They did open up as five and a half point underdogs against Texas Tech, and with Texas Tech perhaps getting Chance McMillan back, we don't know what his status is going to be as he missed the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament.

I do think that that's an interesting look.

I'm not sure you're looking at this game, but from what you were putting down, I sense that you're liking Texas Tech in this spot. And I personally felt like Texas sech should have been a seven point favorite myself in this game.

Yeah, I'm right there with you.

I think Texas Tech ends up kind of getting it done, and I am surprised that it is a seven, not a seven and a half type of number. You know, you brought up Chance mc millan. The way that mcchasly's been talking about it over the past couple of days here doesn't really give me a lot of optimism that he's going to be available period throughout the rest of his tournament. It's a different injury than what kind of hampered him throughout the season. It's one that's really difficult from the sounds of it, to actually log a lot of minutes. So I would just kind of bank on Texas Tech be in the form that we've seen them the past two games against UNCW and Drake, and you know, notably in that UNC Wilmington game, Wilmington made a close ballgame. They were hitting threes and kind of made it tight. But Texas Tech's balance again kind of showed up near the end of that game. They were able to balloon it up same way that kind of happened with Drake in a better version of you know, a lot of teams that I think that could get in the way of Texas Tech, and for that reason, laying the five and a half number, even without McMillan in the lineup, potentially, I'm totally fine with that.

I think that number will creep up as we get closer to tip.

What else I think is going to be very interesting about the Sweet sixteen as well, is that typically with the one seeds, they try to protect them, They try to give them as little travel as possible. They didn't know favors Houston and this one azam to play in Lucas Oil Stadium against Purdue in the state of Indiana. Right now for Houston they are about a seven and a half to an eight point favor What do you make out of this game because I do think that that environment in the state of Indiana it helps up Purdue a little bit. Obviously, this is not like a true home game or anything like that, but I do think that it's a very curious spot for Houston, especially after they had a little bit of a tough time with Gonzaga laying the game and when they were trying to close that one out, they did pete on their leg a little bit with those turnovers.

Yeah, and it's crazy that we're even talking about a Houston Gonzaga matchup that has already happened in the tournament, and now they're going out to Indy to face Perdue. I mean, this is the most ridiculous straw that I can remember in recent times. They get hit with the best eight seed maybe in over a decade, and then immediately have to play a pseudo road game against Purdue, a four seed in Sweet sixteen, and eventually I do think that maybe these types of tests will kind of get to Houston and weigh them down a bit. But I really liked how they handled Zaga. I don't think that a five point differential in that game in terms of the end result is indicative of anything other than you know, that's basically like a Final four game. I have to give Houston credit for controlling it from start to finish. Yes, Gonzaga had a chance late, but ultimately they were in control.

I get it.

Seven and a half points feels like a lot, and it can be a lot, especially if you are playing a true kind of road game against a Purdue team. But I think it's high for a reason and I am totally willing to lay it with Houston. I think they're on a collision course to get back to the Final Four this year.

With this Houston team, it is such an interesting bunch as well. And do you ever get a little bit off put by the fact that Houston is such a slow team, which leads to sometimes a little bit more variants in their games, because I always do think that it is interesting to look at Houston from that sort of a vantage point as well.

That is the one thing that I do.

Give a little bit of knock to them with, But it feels like every single time they need to have it, they do. Yeah.

And what I'll even say about just kind of Houston this year as opposed to some of the past Houston teams that have gotten bound, so they're not one reliance. You know, we saw them over the years with Jamal shed kind of just be a one dimensional We're gonna run our offense through this guy and then play defense on the back end. That's gonna be up to the elite standard that we've established. But they do feel like a lot more of a balanced team this year. Still heavy on the defensive end, but in terms of their offense, they have multiple bucket getters. They can make their free throws, and I do feel like against a Purdue team that earlier in the tournament so far has sort of been thriving in terms of collecting offensive boards, they outboarded a high point by about twenty same thing with McNees. I think they're gonna have a much more difficult time against a team like Houston, And unlike those other teams that were struggling and had that size differential, Houston is gonna have a good size matchup in this game. And I also think the offensive scoring is gonna be there for the KuPS.

Yeah, but with Houston.

I think that Milesuzan has been one of the most improved players in all of college basketball this year, where he was at the beginning part of the season versus where he is right now. It is a day difference, and I think that that's going to be a big key moving forward. As we do have Rob donald Sin who does great workover at the Robs Best Best Show, joined me on costco Steepson, Rob, I do want to discuss this with you as well, the smaller tournaments. As of right now we are awaiting that NIT Elite eight to get set. Those games will be happening on Tuesday. But how much are you keying in on the NIT along with that the CBI as well? I would say the College Insiders Tournament, but does not look like we're going to be getting a College Insiders tournament this season, which makes me very sad. But you know what, I think that these tournaments do offer a little bit of value and these tournaments have been fun to gauge, but at least for myself thus far.

Oh man, these games have been fantastic.

Just today or just the past two days, we saw seven and a half point dog in Bradley take out George Mason on George Mason's floor, and then earlier today on Sunday, we saw Oklahoma State as a nine and a half point dog beat the number one seeded SMU. And that's just when the tournament has been delivering so far. We saw Dayton go down to the hands of Shatton. We saw, you know, a number of really great games that you wouldn't have expected the outcome, say for Kent State beating a Saint Bonaventure. This tournament's been delivering night and day. And the crazy thing to talk about when you're talking about the NIT and the CBI that actually just started on Sunday, there's another tournament that's gonna be popping up with actual high major teams and Mountain West teams taking place with the Crown Invitational as well here in about a week or so. I'm very excited to watch these tournaments. Obviously, the players are bought in, they're delivering a great product. And what I really like about the NIT field this year, it's kind of less high majorie than the past years because of that Crown Invitational being a thing, and we're seeing a lot of kind of matchups that we wouldn't normally see ever in a given season.

Yeah, and then with the CBI, I don't think that I was ever going to bank on incarna word and men Henn playing out there in the Great State of Florida. But we got that on Sunday and Carna word well, the word was a winner with the word Cardinals, So that was a lot of fun as well. And I do think that the CBI action on Monday it's going to be a lot of fun as well. We're still awaiting some of the matchups that we're going to be getting there. But and he sort of leans with regards to this tournament because I thought that it was very interesting that we did see Illinois State as short of a favorite as they were on Sunday as we're recording this era up at the half, so we'll see what happens there. But I do think that in general, this is a very fascinating tournament where it feels like the shooting environment has been very very friendly thus far.

Yeah, and you know, we saw a pretty crazy game between Elon and Army in terms of just that comeback. They were down by twenty points, Army was in the second half a storm back, ended up winning by five points. And I do wonder, you know, how much is it left in the sALS after a comeback back like that in extremely short turnaround.

The very next day.

So I am going to be looking at ENOUGHGCU not only to win that game, but to cover and then incarna where Jacksonville I think is a fantastic game. Jacksonville is a team that I thought potentially could have won the a Sun Conference tournament, and they have a lot of veterans, they have a lot of athletes.

I think they're gonna be geared up and ready to go to win that game.

And then Queen's and Cleveland State, that's gonna be a battle of fantastic guard play and really good coaches.

I'm excited to watch that one too, So that would be kind of my early lean.

I would take FGCU, I would take Jacksonville, and then I would just enjoy a fun Queen's game versus Cleveland State at three pms Central Standard time.

Absolutely, we are gonna get ourselves some good wines out there in the old College Basketball Insiders Tournament, those are always a lot of fun. With regards to CBI, I love that tournament. I love getting you aboard as well. Rob, I know that you're working so hard to take a look at these winners, whether that be in the NCAA tournament and it and so much more love the good people at home. No, it's all on to have for you and how people can follow on on social media other platforms.

Well, Hey, Greg, as I always say, I appreciate you having me on throughout the entire season. It's been a fun one.

And for those who are one to follow my bets in the Sweet sixteen and some of these other smaller tournaments and just college basketball the rest of the way, you can do so on my YouTube channel which is just my name, Rob Donaldson and also on my Twitter slash x page at rob DFB.

But as always, Greg, I really appreciate me on.

Man, it is always great to be able to get Rob award. He does such a tremendous job. Take a look at this great game of college basketball, and every single time he joins me runs such good insights. So big thanks to Rob for joining me on Seeps now part of the Vson Family podcast and coming next to it is that time the podcast they give you picks analysis on every game on.

The betting board for this college Basketball Monday. As we have to make job EVERYBG you let me Las Vegas.

We're Seeps with myself Greig EPs Peterson now part the Vson Family Podcast was great to get Rob Donaldson a board. He does great work with the show Slash Podcast Rob's Best Bets. Every single time he joins me, he lends such great insights. Did so once again today, So big thanks to Rob for joining me in the last segment. Now it is that time the podcast they give you picks and analysis on all three games that we've got on the betting board for this college basketball Monday. As we had some make shots.

Most financial establishments close at a certain time, but not here. It is time for a side in total on every game on today's betting board bank shots.

Do you know if that has per usual any changes are made to these plays, We'll be listened up on my Twitter slash x feed at gn N underscoredy one. They did not make my task very easy here today We've got three games.

On the board.

All three games currently do not have numbers at the time of recording because with the CBI it was win to advance, lose, you go home, and bookmakers they are much more concerned about the Sweet sixteen than they are the CBI. So I'm going to give you guys my handicap and you play that based off of the numbers that you end up getting in the am. But I will give you, guys, exactly where I have handicapped all three of these games. It starts off with six oh one, six oh two win. All three of these games happening in Daytona Beach at the Ocean Center. Jacksonville and in Carter Word are going to be doing battle. I did set in Carter Word as a five and a half point underdog, so five or less, I'm one a lay with Jacksonville six or more will and take the points within Carter Word and then made a total of one thirty nine a half, So thirty nine or less I'd like the over one forty or higher. I'm going to be in on this total under You've got a Jacksonville squad that has been able to do a really good job of being able to elevate with regards to a three point shooting this season, and this is a team that's going to be playing within.

Their home state.

I didn't give them a lot of credence for that, just because it is a little bit of a funky dunk tournament. But at the same time, I do think that there is a little bit of something to that Daytona Beach not overly far away from Jacksonville because they're in the same state. But except for this Jacksonville team, they've been able to shoot thirty seven percent from three points just season. That is thirty second in all of college basketball, and Garter Ward they themselves I've been able to shoot about thirty five and a half percent from three point. It's a relatively slow, in control the Incarnate Word team that we really saw gunning in that game against Manhattan yesterday though, and is a little bit more of an up tempo team. If you look at the way then Karna Word has played. That's far the season. They've been a very slow and controlled team, and Jacksonville played a little bit faster this year. Now with Jacksonville the eternal issues, they're very prevalent. Jacksonville is a bunch. I turned the ball for north of fourteen times for contest, but Robert McCrae, the fourth has been rocked solid for them. He's been able to be really their low double figure score of fifteen plus points per contest for Jacksonville. There are a mid temple team that's about one hundred and seventy nine in the country in terms of total possessions per game. Meanwhile, entering into yesterday and Carter Ward three and thirty fifth in the country. I do think that with the first round over this being a back to back and Carter Word is going to start to slow things down just a scoch. But I also do think that for Incarnate Word, they're going to be able to do an okay John on glass. Ultimately, I do think that they are going to be losing that battle on glass. But at the same time, you do have an Inencarter Word team that has a pair of guys been a will give you between about five to five and a half rebounds per game. They're very rock Solidjohn Lowe, Jordan Pike at six with seven five boards, ten points per game, and Pike has been shooting in at a club about thirty five percent for three and then Dylan Ayman he had six and six to shooting forty two and a half percent from three points supplies to team with fourteen half points per contest. It's really all about Jalen Anderson and Davion Bailey. These two guys played at ball Seed last season. This year, they're combined for thirty one points per contest between the two of them shooting thirty nine percent for three. They give you about two and a half seals between the two of them, and then Anderson five assists to two point seven turnover spring and Carter Word a country average team being able to generate turnovers. But if you are in a nippitituck spot, this incard Word team they do shoot just sixty eight percent. The free flying a little bit of an issue there. They do a nice job of running teams off the three point line, but the three pointers that they allow teams to shoot today have been really able to make. They're hovering right around about three hundredth in the country. It turns upon a three point shooting percent. Meanwhile, this has been a Jacksonville unit that has been pretty solid with reguards too. Are three point shooting defense why they've been in the state of Florida. In the state of Florida, teams are shooting less than thirty three percent against them. Outside the state of Florida that goes in earth at thirty six percent from the outside, So that's been a little bit of an issue for them. I do think they're in Carter Word gonna be able to hold themselves dound just a little bit more than they did yesterday in carter Ward. By the way, on the road lying teams to shoot about thirty four percent from three points, But do you think that in the end of Jacksonville was something like in Zeke Nikogi downlow being able to give you about nine points. He's mad able to shoot in the mid thirties from three points, just being a Jacksonville team that has been generating about twelve and a half offensive rebounds per game. That is a top fifty market off college basketball. Stefan Pain is out with a little bit of ailment, but it looks like he should be playing in this event. Kendall Munthson is some of the like nine points five boors, not a guy that's going to go out there shoot it up from three points. And to the credit of carter Ward, they've been a pretty solid team with the guards being able to generate offensive rebound. It's not quite the same as Jacksonville State, but both of these teams I think are going to be able to find second and third chances, and carter Ward tops seventy team turns of percentage of their midch shots that become an offensive rebound. Jacksonville there forty third to think that in the end, just the year death that you've got for Jacksonville going to be able to win out against the carter Ward team playing a back to back. So one to lay up to five with Jacksonville six or more, taking the points with a guard award, and then one thirty nine or lesson on the over one forty or higher the under six of three six four.

We've got Army and Florida Golf.

Coast, and I set Florida g Off Coast to where I'm one to lay up to a nine and a half with them, ten and a half or more, take the points with Army, and then maybe I total one forty four one forty three and a half for less in on the over one forty four and a half or higher the under. I'll make this simple for you, single digits. Want to lay of Florida Golf Coast double digits. That becomes my bypoint on Army. It is an Army squad that has been able to do a really nice job of featuring their main guys. Jalen Rucker has been incredible for this unit. He's been able to give you some team post points per contest, and then he'll been able to get a lot of Josh Skovins, who's been able to give you twelve points, does a good job of being able to flow the offense. But the problem for Army is that they did, to the point of Rob Donalds in the last segment, have to expend a lot of energy to have that twenty point comeback yesterday against Elon. They pretty much have four primary scores. I mentioned Scovin's a lot, Jalen Rucker, Ryan Curry is able to give you twelve nine points, three and halfhasis per contest, aj Allen Patch seven boards, eleven points per game. Nobody else entered in this tournament giving you more than four point one points or two point seven or rebouts per game.

So it's a very top heavy team.

Now going to play a back to back against a Florida Golf Coast team that they are very much rested there playing out there in their home state. Now, I will say this about Flora Golf Coast. They're not going to crank up the tempo. So if there is one thing that's helping out Army, it's a fact that Floria Golf Coast is outside the top three are worth regards total possessions per game, but lots of versatility with his Florida Golf Coast team. We've got daily On Johnson, who's been your top score fifteen points per game, just eighty five percent free flying thirty seven percent from this since Rory Stewart has come on as a nice off the bench scorer, shooting forty percent for three with six half points to some, he's been rock solid.

Michael Duwaks, I thought was.

Going to give you a little bit more coming in from Northern and I was six a half points, four and a half rebounds per game. I look for him to have himself a little bit of a better day. But Keishon Coleman, I think should be able to really take it to this Army team down low. He's been able to get the team about seven a half rebounds per game. As this is an Army team that has been a little bit less and tremendous in terms of being able to hit the offensive glass outside the top turner with the guards their defensive rebound percentage as well away from home, they allow upon it to gribe about twenty eight and a half percent other mid shots as an offensive rebound and entered into yesterday twur ninety nine in terms of percentage of their own misshots that become an offensive rebound as well, so that puts them out a little bit of a disadvantage. Now, good news for Army is top fifty team and not turning the ball over. They did a nice job taking care of it. But this Florida Gulf Coast team not really going out there trying to generate a lot of turnovers dunk City. They themselves have turned the ball over less than eleven and a half times for contest, so they've been able to flow some good, clean offense. And this is the Florida goolf Coast team that they are a top one of our team with the guards points scored on a per possession basis. But if you look a little bit more specifically in a road slide shoots core venue for Florida, they've actually been a top forty five team with the guards points scored on a per possession basis, even further top forty team with this regard as well. They're just a really efficient team going up against an Army squad that they've been not the world's worst with regards are three points shooting defense, but they still leave a little bit of something to be desired. They're away from home, they're a lying teams to shoot about thirty five and a half percent from three points to floor. Golf Coat save themselves are alling ponents to shoot about thirty five percent from three points. Again, this is a Florida Golf Coast team that's really not looking to push a lot of tempo with regards to Army. Not a team thats necessarily playing super duper fast on the Sea, team that's playing super duper solow either about a hund and fiftieth with reguards to total possessions per game. So this is a circumstance where somebody totally where a one forty three and a half for less, you know on the over one forty four and a half or higher the under, and then with Florida gelf Coast bowling light to nine and a half with them, then a half for more taking the points with Army, and then we've.

Got six oh five, six of six on the card.

Cleveland State is going to be playing against Queens nd C, and I have handicapped Cleveland State as a five and a half point favorite, so I'm going to be one to lay up to five with them six or more taking those points with Queens and C and then I did sell my total at a one forty seven and a half, so one forty seven or less in on the over one p forty eight or higher. The under Queens NC has been a top uner team with the guards to possessions bring all season long, and Cleveland State not necessarily a team that's going to be looking at gun it by start to the imagination about to turnings seventy fifth in the country in terms of total possessions Sprain. They just have become much more efficient with reguards their offense as the season has won along. I've been very impressed by Abrie Madiba. He's a six 't six little bit of a show we say, point forward for the team. As he had his size, has been able to give you about four assists only one point six turnovers per game.

He only gives you three and a half points per game.

But in the off the ball scorers Jashawan Stevenson, who's been able to shoot about thirty four a half percent for three touchs to Ooski who shoots thirty five and a half percent from three point gis guys have really gotten better as the season has won along and rise in league Playstavoski was able to give you thirteen a half points per contest, Steven sim more around about ten points per game, and then download they should have a nice advantage with Dylan Arnett, who's been able to give you about seven a half boards, a block and a half for contest since the beginning of rise in league conference play as well. I really like the way that this team is able to turn their defense into offense as well. Cleveland State is a top thirty team with you guys a turnovers force on a pur possession basis, and there have been a lot of times this year that Queens ENDC has gotten out of sorts with the ball. They're just below the top two fifty in terms of turnovers force on a pur possession basis on offense. On defense, there a country average team at being able to generate turnovers and they are gonna have the advantage on Wilson has been able to give you three and a half blocks per contest that is number one in all of college basketball for Queens NC. We saw on full display yesterday the guys they're able to really go bombs away from the outside. As you've got Chris Ashby, who was able to put on more than twenty points yesterday, entered into yesterday shooting thirty five percent for three it's not even better than that yesterday. And then you off Berman, Leo Camadillo along Jackson Pollard. All three of these guys entered into yes stay shooting between thirty eight point three and thirty nine point seven percent from the outside. Berman and Pollard both about eight points per contest. Coming to Yo is a top score fourteen points five rebounds per contest, and he and Malcolm Wilson are the loan two guys on the roster. I give you north of five rebounds per game. So it's been a little bit of an issue for Queens nd C. They've given up quite a bit on the defensive glass, but in terms of their offensive rebound percent they've been able to do a solid job of be able to give themselves second and third chances. It's not gonna call it amazing by start to imagination, but they did enter yesterday in terms of percentage of their midshots. The do result in an offensive rebound hovering right around one hundred and sixteen in all of college basketball. But this has been a Cleveland State team has been very good at being able to give themselves second and third chances as well. They rank in the top forty with thirty twenty nine percent other midshots resulting in an offensive rebound, even though Cleveland State not necessity team has going to run it and gun. And this has been a Cleveland State team that has had a little bit of a tough time holding onto the ball themselves. While they do a great job of general turnovers, they do turn the ball over about twelve times for contests themselves. I do think that with Cleveland State getting to go up against the Queens Land and CE team that is now playing in a back to back spot, with the way that they do play their defense and they look to be able to generate turnovers, I think that they're going to have great success there. And this has been a Queens End CE team that has been looking to play faster and faster as the season has won along. So one forty seven or lass, I'm in on the over one forty eight or higher the under, and then with Cleveland State won't layup to five with them six or more, taking those points with Queens nd C and that ll right things up for the Monday edition of Coast Goes Soups Out, part of the Vson family of podcasts.
