Hey Warmer for the welcome to Love You Las Vegas. Because because he's with myself gregps Peterson now part of the Visa Family podcast. We've got a great podcast for you as we're gonna be joined at segment number two by one of our good friends, Christoph Freeman, who does such great workover at Busts and Brackets. We're gonna chat with him a little about what we've been seeing in terms of these coaching hires, the wildness that is the transfer portal. We're not gonna dive too much into the transfer portal because, man, we got a lot of guys that have their name in there. There's a lot of question as to what we're going to be getting moving forward out of that. So we're gonna be sticking a little bit more to the coaching ires. We're gonna take a look at these Sweet sixteen games that we've got for Thursday, and then in the final segment, gonna get you guys picks in analysis on all four Sweet sixteen games for this Thursday, as we had some make shots. If you do have a question comment segment of you what have you for this podcast? You have under two ways bo fur Those in first one is my Twitter slas cks timeline at g unit Underscore eighty one. Keep in mind Larsium maybe he does I atters, so as per usual, please send these into the timeline. The other waysigned an Apple podcast review. If you rate this podcast five starts, it is very much appreciated. From there, you're able to fire in whatever you'd like to hear on this podcast via that five star review. And we did not get in any Twitter slash xt questions today. And frankly we add only three games that happened on Wednesday, but they were fun one. So let's take a look back at everything that we saw on Wednesday, tried to find some trends and try to get tone of these things a little bit better.

Games for yesterday is Greig buzzing about. Here is the rowdy recap.

The NIT final four is set is zut zut the ucer Finante Eaters get the job done against you AB eighty one to seventy seven, and you were able to get in on the under if you had took a one fifty eight and a half or higher. This dip down at one point as low as a one fifty five, so if you got the low point of the market on the over, you were able to get there as well. But this game goes overtime and Irvine finds a way to eke this one out as they go fifteen to twenty one at the free thlyw and too the Craig VIUAB. They go thirteen to fourteen at the Charity Straight, but just four of twenty from three point range for Irvine. They lose a rebound battle forty seven to forty four, but Devin Till has Ben liking they combined for forty points twenty one rebounds in Yaxcel Lindyborg along Corey Coleman. How about to combine thirty one rebounds and thirty four points. But the guard play of Irvine with having sixteen points out of jerry On Dixon just a little bit better in this spot. So they do find a way to be able to pull that one out. And for Kent State, their season is over. Loyal Chicago, they get the win, They get the cover by account as seventy two to sixty two. As for Loyal Chicago just signed a thirty one from three, But for Kent State they lose the turner battle eleven to seven. They play even up on the glass, but they just weren't able to get a lot going on the inside. They shot thirty seven percent from the floor. And for the Loyal Chicago Miiles Rubin, he was able to supply eighteen points nine rebounds, was the best player in this game. And how about not so normal season for Illinois State. They were able to have themselves a very nice campaign and they cap it off with the title, not necessarily the title that they were hoping for, but you know what a title is a title. They get the win, they get the cover by account of seventy nine to sixty eight over Cleveland State. As for Illinois State, they go eleven of twenty one from three and Cleveland State a hardy five to twenty from the outside. For Illinois State, you had four different servers be able to spply between eleven and thirteen points. But off the bench, it was the twenty points of Caden Boozer, who was having four nine points per contest this season that really uplifted the team. Goes seven to seven from the floor for a four from three points in Cleveland State, in their own right, they had themselves a very profitable season if you were betting on them, as there were a few Rising League teams that were able to make you some nice coin throughout the season. But for Cleveland State, they wrap up the year being a bit a north of fifty eight percent clip against the spread, actually fifty some point six percent if you want to be exact, nineteen fourteen and one against the spread. But still they ran above themselves a nice season, so it was nice to be able to see that. Didn't see as much coaching news in college basketball on Wednesday, though it does appear as though we are going to be getting Fray McCaffrey heading on over to the Quakers of Penn As of right now, that doesn't look to be a done deal quite yet, but that looks like it's going to be in the work, So that's something very interesting. I know there's a lot of people that are talking about the fact that Kevin Willard it seems like he's going to be the next coach over at Villanova. I'm not going to throw out there too many reports on that quite yet. We are going to see what's going to be happening on that front. But I'll be keeping guys the breast of that all throughout the off season, and we're really going to start edting the transfer portal stuff a little bit more once we get past the Elite eight these next few days, it should be all about the NCAA tournament. In my opinion, it's very unfortunate what has happened here with everything that is happening in terms of the's coaching moves happening, well, it takes away from the Sweet sixteen, the e Lait eight, So that's a little bit of a bummer in my opinion. I know that there's a lot of people I have a lot of different thoughts. You are very much welcome to your own thoughts. I wish that there was a little bit less hampering college basketball in general, because I know that a lot of people gripe about the portal being early with regards to their opening, and I don't disagree, but I mean, this happens all throughout the season as well, so it is a little bit of a rough system. It is what it is. But during the offseason I'll be keeping guys up breast as where these guys are going to be going all these coaching moves. And as you guys know, during the offseason, you always get a specific podcast that is going to preview every single conference. They'll typically start up in late May early June. I do plan on doing the exact same this offseason as well. There's going to be a lot of hunting and gathering along the way as well, but you're certainly going to be in for a wild offseason, so we'll be keeping up with that. And a man that is doing a great job of keeping up with it all that would be our good friend Tristan Freeman. He does such tremendous workover at Busting Brackets. We're going to chat with him about these Sweet sixteen games, these recent coaching Iris, that's so much more. Next right here on coach because with myself Craigie Spearson now at Visa Family pigas every Ryan here love you Las Vegas for with myself Greg Peterson now part of the Visa Family podcast. And it is always great to be joined by this man as we got Tristan Freeman aboard, who does such a tremendous job over at Bustin Brackets they get a look at this tremendous game of college basketball. I know that he's been doing some work with Sleepers Media, He's been doing some work over at the Field of sixty eight as well. This man does a great job keeping himself busy, also does a great job of being able to cover the Pittsburgh sports scene as well. You're able to follow on Twitter slash checks and oops three five one all together. And it's always great to get you aboard. Tristan.

Thank you, Thank you having me. I appreciate it.

I appreciate you, Tristan. And Tristan, we are certainly going to be seeing a lot of hooplah with regards to what we're getting on the court on Thursday and Friday with the Yards of Sweet sixteen and just how do you gauge this NCAA tournament thus far? Because I thought that this was going to be a chalky tournament so far that has left up to it. And I feel like those that have been very shall we say, off put by the NCAA Tournament thus far this season, just in my opinion, needs to take a little bit of a look back at what we've seen here in college basketball and should not be as surprised as I feel like a lot of people are.

Yeah, I mean, you know, starting with the SEC, it was a very top heavy college basketball season. So the fact that there weren't the upsets has expected. You know, it's not a huge surprise, and it happens. There will be years like we had a couple of years ago where upsets were happened all over and early times where chalky. Ultimately, it's still been a good competitive tournament. And even the one seeds, as we saw with Houston and Florida, they were very much tested in around thirty two, so there's still no idea who we're going to see in the finals. And you notice, for one seeds, for the case that all of them could be truly endangered this week, we might not see any of them make the final four.

It is going to be so interesting to see what we get. We could get four SEC teams into the final four, we could get four one seeds into the final four. We could get zero one seeds into the final four, and just how do you take a look at those four one seeds right now? Because certainly for Auburn, that first game was less than savery, but i'd like to byby sell on that second half against Creating. For Florida, it wasn't necessarily a convincing win against Yukon, but they took down the two time defending national champs. And then for Duke, it was very very dominant. Well for Houston, a little bit shaky against Gonzaga, but again a Gonzaga team that probably did not belong on the eight slash nine line.

Houston had very much the toughest possible seed, but they still left them start to finish, so you give them credit. And then you know, Yukon obviously is not the same caliber team as the past two national championship teams were, but it's still Yukon, It's still Dan Hurley with the pedigree, So them putting up a big fight isn't necessarily a surprise either. I think ultimately all four one seeds past or test, and they're now going to take on better teams, and that includes teams with conference players of the Year or All Americans. So there's gonna be a lot of great tests. I mean, ultimately, I haven't seen any of them be disappointed. But now with bigger test comes, now we're going to see them really get testing.

Yep, we certainly are going to. And I do think that the game that we're going to be seeing on Thursday between Maryland and Florida is so intriguing because with Maryland, let's call it what it is. If they need to go to their bench, they are going to be in a world of hurt. But that's starting five of the Crab five as they'd like to call them, that has been one of the most dominant units at all of college basketball. How do you see this one playing out with two teams that I feel like are two of the more balanced teams in all of college basketball.

Yeah, I mean Maryland's balance and the fact that you know they have five quality storters. But Florida they have depth, they have bigs, they have a lot of players to throw at Derek Queen and and Juli Reee. So it's gonna be a scenario where if you assume Walter Clayton, you know, gets back in the form and has a good game, You're gonna need Jakobe Glestie. You're gonna need Selton, Miguel and Rodney Rice to have big games because Florida is one of the best two way teams in the country, and I think the Terrifians have a shot, but at the same time, they're going to need someone to go off. And I don't think with the amount of big the front court depth that the Gators have, you can expect Queen to do it all this time around.

Yep, I think so as well. And do you think that with regards to this game, because this is an angle that I'm taking a look at for that Florida versus Maryland game, that Maryland is probably gonna want to try to slow it down just a little bit more because, as I alluded to, they don't have a ton in the bench. This is a Florida team that they certainly are going to have the depth advantage. I think that when you've got a starting five like that, not a lot behind them that they probably are going to want to try to preserve their energy, perhaps slow that game down just a little bit towards the first half of the game.

Not to slow it down, but you have to avoid foul trouble. You know, Florida can afford their starting front court to gainst fout trouble. Maryland cannot, and that's the concern. So fewer possessions in this situation probably bodes well, but you're gonna have to make shots that that happens. You can't afford to be two to twelve from three point range and think you're going to beat Florida. So I agree with you that your possessions are going to be key, But at the same time, you know they're going to be comfortable playing any kind of way because they're just as potent as any team left in the field.

No question about it. As Tristan Freeman, who does such great work over our bust and brackets, he's jewing me right here on Coast to coast Soups. And I can't believe that I'm saying this, but right now, the team with the lowest seed is coached by John Caliperi. That would be Arkansas they're gonna be taking on Texas tex Just what are you seeing out this Arkansas team right now? Because with regards to the overall season metrics, they're not a team that on paper should be one of those teams here in the Sweet sixteen. But as we both know, this has been a team that has dealt with a lot of injuries. And I've been very impressed by what John Calipari has actually done with this Arkansas team. Really since that game that they played in Kentucky in Lexington.

It's been fascinated because they've been without arguably their best player throughout all season and Duke Guerrero, and they've been better getting Trevon Brazil to play at his best level and Jonas Adu have certainly been helpful, but they're getting enough production and you know, seeing you know, Carter Knox play well the freshman way has been huge. So you know, this is probably one of John ky Pari's best coaching seasons the way, even though they're a tend seat, because this team was that point left for dead, and you know they've beaten Bill self in Kansas and Rich Patino and Saint John's that's as difficult a path to Sweet succeed as any team can face, and now they have Texas Tech, who Grant McCastle is definitely gonna be one of the better coaches in the league. But you feel like cal Fary should have the advantage here. It'll be interesting to see if Thiero can go because Texas text work court is super athletic and topping and Darren Williams. So I think Arkansas has a shot, But I also think this is going to be one of the uglier games of the Sweet sixteen, similar to what happened when Arkansas has beat the Red Storm last week.

Yep, I think that that is going to be so interesting to take a look at it as well. I think that we're going to be in for a lot of really good action with regards to Sweet sixteen. And what else I think is going to be interesting is that rematch of Duke versus Arizona. Because you've had a chance to see this Duke team up close and in person. It's been a duke team that has just shredded everyone here in the NCAA tournament this far. Do you think that Arizona can keep this game relatively close and be able to learn from what happened the first time around, because my side these two teams played, it was sixty nine to fifty five. And I'll venture to say that Arizona scores more than fifty five points in this game, but certainly it was a mismatch of first time round, and I'm very curious to see how they're going to try to turn things around this time around.

Yeah, I mean, look, it's Caleb Love is Caleb Love versus Duke in March, and we've seen what happens in that before, and they're a very capable team. If creamus in townshend play well and you can get the production out of dear Russo and Carter on the wings, they do have a shot because as great as Duke gizzed or not unbeatable. But at the end of the day, it's still going to be a tough battle for Arizona because look at cab Love has starts out, you know, one to six, then they can easily go down double digits as well.

Yeah, they certainly can. And I do think that we've got ourselves a great sixteen that is going to be going down. And Tristan, I know you're doing amazing work looking at the games out there on the court, but you're also doing a great job of looking at things off the court. And I'm not going to dive in too much on the transfer portal because I think that would be easier to name the guys that aren't in the transfer portal rather than the guys that are. At this point, I say that only half jokingly because last year we got narth of seventeen hundred guys in the transfer portal, so that makes things very difficult. But how do you take a look at the coaching movement that we're seeing right now? Because as I just take a look at all these scenes that are higher on coaches, I feel like there have been some very good hires. Obviously, Ben McCollum going to Iowa a plus there. I really do like South Florida Brian Brian Hodgson. I think he's going to have some good success there. But that said, it does feel like a lot of these schools that don't have a coach right now, they're very much just under pressed sure to be able to hire a guy on because with the way that the transfer portal is set up now, every day that they don't hire on a coach, these guys lose out on the opportunity for I don't even think that I'm speaking in iperbole, are going too far here. They're losing out on perhaps hundreds and hundreds of players that they could bring into their program.

Yeah, I mean we're seeing probably a dozen or so start the set of visits. I don't think it's necessarily, you know, a disaster if you don't get I think the most important thing is just to get the right guy, because if you get the wrong guy, it doesn't matter what transfers you bring in, it's just not going to work. So if it takes time and if a certain code is still in the tournament, then so be it. And there's still plenty of talent out there available, and there's going to be guys who are going to either take their time or go through the draft process. So I wouldn't necessarily panic, but it definitely is something on many teams' minds where hey, if you're gonna part ways with a coach, you need to know what you're doing, what direction you're going, and get that and get that started. Because we're rebuilding teams who know who aren't guaranteed success, like the twenty or so programs in college basketball, you know you're gonna be stuck if you don't necessarily get the right players. So if you start early and filt your roster, that's good. Otherwise, you know, just still take the time.

Yep. I do think that it's going to be really interesting to see what we get this offseason because we do have a lot of things that are out there in terms of coaching hires that we have seen. Are there a few in particular that pop out because I did mention Ben McCollum, I do feel like that's just the A plus higher right there. The guy has won his conference more than ten straight years, going back to the Division two level, And I do think that with regards to what we've seen thus far in college basketball, I feel like a lot of teams that have made the hires though something that might be a little bit rush. I don't really look at the cycle right now and say, oh, that was really a bad hires. I did think that a lot of schools thus far I've gotten it right.

Yeah, I think there was a clear list of guys who are ready to be elevated. I think the one surprise scenario that heard was BCU hired Phil Martelli junior or Briant. He doesn't have a long head coaching career, and the roster that he won with technically weren't his players. But he's an eight ten guy from Saint Joe's and obviously his father is a coaching legend in his own right, and him join his staff is big. But yeah, I don't think there has been any you know, huge surprises, partly because last year Scarsel was so wild that there was only so many options that were truly available this time.

Around, yep. I think that that's such a good point that you make there, and I do feel like Phil Martelli Junior was a little bit of a surprise, but I see where they're coming from with regards to that hire. And I was just mentioning Ben McCollum a minute go. We haven't seen a lot of guys from the D two ranks really get an opportunity now. I think much of that is because the D two NCAA tournament is so going on as well, so something to be mindful of it. But do you think that with the success of something like a Ben McCollum, we've seen what Seasun has been able to. Cal Pauly was just absolutely terrible. Prior to last year, they had success bringing in a guy from the Division two ranks as well. Do you think that there might be a few of these other schools that don't have a coach right now that might consider a D two guy because I feel like the schools that went down a level, that went to the Division two level, they were greatly rewarded this past year.

Yeah. One of the things that hasn't been working well as of labor retreads. You know, guys who previously had success but then get fired. I think Patino has been the exception of that. You know, he took New Mexico into being Mountain West champion. Obviously his pedigree being at Patino certainly helps out. So if you're not going to go that route, or you know, find assistance from big name coaches, then yeah, you can go to D two route. You can go to Juco ro former Juco coaches having plenty of success at a D one level as well. So whichever way you want to go, as unconventional as it is, it doesn't matter as long as you get the result.

Yeah, absolutely, and we shall see if those guys are going to be able to get that opportunity and I'm very curious to see what we're going to be getting this off season at Tristan. There is going to be no short of things to talk about with about a trillion guys right now in the transfer portal, a whole bunch of coaching moves being made, and oh, by the way, we've got some really good action out there on the court as well. You do such a great job being able to cover it all, so let the good people at home know it's all on top for you. And how people can follow on on social media and other platforms.

Yes, cert you follow me at hoops nutt three to five one on Twitter, slash x and also follow the main site busting Brackets and we're on both tournament coverage and looking at what's going on in portal and coaching here.

So absolutely, and for Tristan, he does such a great job taking a look at this great sport and every old time he joins me Buns of Basing Insights, So big thanks to Tristan for joining me on Soup Style part of the VSA Family podcast and coming up next to this that time the podcast they give you pick some analysis on every game on the betting board. For this college basketball Thursday, as we had some as we had some big shots all right here love me Las Vegas because gu seeps with myself, Greg you Speeds and now part of the Vson family and podcasts. We always have a great time chatting with Tristan Freeman whenever he's a board, does such great work over at bustin Brackets Field of sixty eight and so much more. Every single time he joins me, learns such great insights and did so once again today. So big things to Tristan for joining me in last segment. Now it is that time the podcast they give you pick some analysis on every game on the betting board for this sweet sixteen at Thursday, as we had some bank shots.

Most financial establishments close at a certain time, but not here. It is time for a sign in total on every game on today's betting board bank shots dude.

Note that, as per usual, any changes are made to these plays, we'll be listed up on my Twitter slash chs feed at Junia and are forty one. Not sure how a rotation order did this for this one is we got the late game in the East first, and then BYU versus Alabama and then the late game in the West with Arkansas vats Is, Texas Tech, and then Marilyn versus Florida. So good job there, guys, But that's that we are going to go in Las Vegas rotation or we'll have fun taking a look at these four games. So how about if we start with sixty five six twenty six, Arizona is going to be playing against Duke from the Prudential Center right now. With Duke, they do find themselves as nine to nine and a half point favorite Sunhots game as low as the one fifty three and a half as high as a one fifty four and a half and am well take nine plus here with Arizona Arizona. Last time they played against Duke, they played a not so savory game which a scored fifty five points. Do you think that they're going to be a little bit better here because they're so good on the glass. This is a top twenty five team in the country with the guards rebound percent with Tobyo Waka give me eight plus rebounds per game, Jaden Bradley, Caleb Love. These guys are so hit or missed with their three point shooting as this team will leave from home. They're shooting just thirty two point four percent from three point But I do like what I've been seeing out of those two guys here in the NCAA tournament, and for Duke obviously a team with not too many holes. There number one then all of code basketball in terms of points scored on a PURPOSESSH basis, a top five team in terms of points allowed on a PURPOSESSH basis, and Duke does a really nice job'll be able to hold things down. They are about to turn eightieth in the country with regards to total possession spring. This is not a team that's going to be looking to necessarily run it and gun it. But you've got Terry's Proctor has been so hot here shooting well north of forty percent from three pointe all season long, but here in the NCAA tournament has been shooting well above fifty percent from three point inch. I do think that that's going to cool down a little bit. Both of these teams not necessarily the most remarkable in terms of three point shooting percentage of defense, but I do think that with Arizona having their shall we say your missibilities from three point inch, I think that they're going to be cool down a little bit here, and this is a new team that away from home they do shoot thirty se point seven percent for three points. But I even think that a team of this caliber is going to be, shall we say, having a little bit of a tough time adjusting with regards to neutral court environment, all the nerves in a sweet sixteen game. I do think that that leads a little bit of a slower start, which is a big reason I did somebody total one to fifty two and a half. Even though I think the Duke is going to be very efficient, I think that Carmen will watch who's been able to give you six plus rebounds screening, He's going to match up very well with Henry Vassar. I do think that even though Duke has been just so dominant all season long, I do think that with his Arizona team, they have just enough to be a hold in there, especially with Duke not honessarly being a team that generates a lot of turnovers that leads to good clean possessions for Arizona and being able to clean up glass, I think is going to be just enough for them to hold in there. Semi Total one to fifty two and a half. Here at the one fifty three and a half plus, won't take a shot on the under, and a nine plus, I'm won't take the points. With Arizona six twenty six, twenty eight, You've got BYU versus Alabama. Alabama currently a favorite and most spots of a five and a half point favorite, and seeing feat straight five's out there as well. The total N's game it is one seventy five to one seventy six, and I set my total out one seventy five. I just can't bring myself to taking anything north of that over. I'm going to be in on the under. I know that I'm a schmuck for these Alabama Unders. They always play up tempo. They're number one in the country with the guards to total possessions spring, but they're actually really good at the guard the three point line. Alabama is the top thirty five team in terms of the opponents three point shooting percentage or Alabama they've been very leaky inside and they're just not going to create any ball pressure. They're about three and fiftieth in all of college basketball in terms of turnovers force on a per possession basis. But BYU, contrary to a popular belief. They're not a super up tempo team. They're outside the top one forty. With the guards, there are a total possessions per game. This is a BYU team that is a really good shooting team. As if you had Richie Saunders give me sixteen points per contest. He's right, not shooting well north of forty three percent for three, but he's really the lone player for BYU that has been able to give you north of ten a half points per contest. Eger to me has done a nice job being able to shoot out. Trevan Nell is able to shoot a North with forty percent for three toss and Baker gets you some and Rice shooting as well. But I do think that BYU's big man in Fusani trey Ore along Kebukita combining for about thirteen and a half rebounds per game, the versatility Bowan bog that's going to be able to win out down though both of these teams are top forty five teams with guards. Rebound percentage of Granton Nelson, he's now looking a bit healthier for Alabama. The last few days of rest should be able to help him out. He and cliff On Marui fourteen, plus three bounds per game and Mark Sears overall for the season as maybe we give seventeen plus points per contest, but or last six games shooting less than twenty five percent from three points. God has grew back a little bit more in that game against Saint Mary's, but that has to be a little bit concerning. It is an Alabama squad that I said, Chris Youngblood be relatively hit or miss all season long. When he's on, he's on. When he's off, he's off. As Aiden Hallway has really been one of your more consistent outside shooters, shooting forty one percent from the outside eleven and a half points per contest. I like what Mohammed Diobante brings to the table, and they're going to need, in my opinion, quite a bit of him. I do think that this game is going to be played a little bit more through the post in terms of both of these teams. So I do like this total under at north of a one to seventy five. I do think that with the way that Byu is able to do a pretty rock solid job download, they're going to give up the three point line. But I do think that with this being a neutral core game and a larger environment out there at the Prudential Center that's going to hurt both of these teams. Three point shooting that lends itself to being an advantage for BYU and help them hold in this game. So this on my line at a four, I'm well to think the points with BYU and I'm in on this total under as well. And then we head out to the Chase Center as we've got six twenty nine to six thirty Texas SEC is playing against Arkansas. Arkansas just find themselves as an underdog of five n a half points. One forty eight to one forty eight and a half is your total end? Did somebody told one forty seven? I'm in on the under Arkansas way from home shooting less than thirty one percent from three points in. Abdu Thierro should be able to play in some former capacity in this game, but we have not seen him out there on the floor in quite some time, so I have to wonder even if he is able to go in this game out close hundred percent, he is going to be as overall for the season. He's been logging for the team fifteen a half points, six boards, and he doesn't give you a lot in terms of outside tuning, but he is able to pop it from three point inch. But this will be his first action since February twenty second, so I have to think that he's going to be relatively limited. Like we saw with Boogie flyand returning to the fold after he had missed fifteen games, it took him a little bit of time to find his seed legs acause as a matter of fact, he's still trying to find the seed legs. In the two games that he's returned for a combined twelve points, he was able to give the team a little bit of something in terms of facilitation and did gurinarate four seals, but outside tuning just not necessarily there with him. What has really helping out this seam is what you've been seeing out of Trevon Brazil, Alon Jonas Adu. These guys have really turned into difference makers for this bunch. Especially ad Adu has been able to give you some plus rebounds before the last five games fourteen plus points in five out of the last six. He has been rock salid and after a rough start to the season, John L. Davis has been able to get his act together double figures in each other the last five games, as well as shooting it more confidently from three points. But I do think that for Texas Tech in the end, they're just going to have a little bit too much to be able to bring to the table. Now they are saying that it is questionable as to whether or not Chance McMillan is going to play in this game. I'm thinking that he does not going. Even if he does, he's not going to be the same guy that he typically is. But JT. Toppin should be able to own the glass in this game. Eighteen points, nine rebounds per contest. Texas Tech top fifty team with the guards of points a lot on a purposession basis, top twenty team in terms of points scored on a purposession basis, just so efficient with about third fewest turnovers on a per possession basis in a road slasher courter environment with Elijah Hawkins six point five assists a fewer than two turnovers per contest gets the ball like Christian Anderson, who's been really able to step up in this McMillan injury ten and a half points you overall for the season, has been able to pop it out about a thirty eight and a half percent clip from three point range. But I think that he's going to become all the more key for this seam because he's a guy that has seen a lot of minutes but hasn't necessarily give you a lot of scoring. In the last two games, has been a little bit more of a defensive stopper for the team. You've got kerbel Ballton New's able to shoot forty percent from three points to ad that big twenty seven spot against UNC Wilmington and then add a zero against Drake. So I mean, that's very interesting to say the least, but you know what you're going to be able to get out of therey On Williams just still rock solid in terms of his versatility fourteen a half points, five and a half boards, three and emphasis and while DJ Wagner is able to give you some versatility as well on Arkansas. I do think that with this McCastle and coach team, they're going to be able to stop up defensively. They are a team in Texas Tech that they'd like to play a little bit more slowly. They're outside the top tour with regards to total possessions per game, and I do think that they're going to get nice, clean offense against an Arkansas team that leaves a little bit of something to be desired and terms their ball pressure. So maybe my totally one forty seven, I'm in on the under end. I'm going to be willing to lay with Texas Secon meet them at some point, Favorite wrap things up with six thirty one, six thirty two on the card. Maryland is going to be playing against Florida out there on the West coast as well. On Maryland is finding themselves as a underdog of six points in. I'm seeing six a half out there as well. One fifty six a half is a low part mark on the total. One fifty eight is high mark, and I'm in on the other and somebody total one to fifty three. I really think that Maryland, with having a great starting five and nobody coming off the bench, give me a north of three and a half points per contest. It is gonna look to slow this game down a little bit more. You've obviously got the two big men down low, Derek Queen Julian Reese, who'll been able to combine for eighteen rebounds per game. That's gonna be key because Alex Condon has been so rock solid for Florida twelve plus points, seven and a half plus rebounds per game. Then for Florida, they haven't been playing as high scoring of games ever since they burned the red shirt of Micah ham Logan, who's been able to give you five and a half rebounds screame hand logged in is relatively limited on the offensive side things, but defensively he is such a plus defender. He's able to give you a block down low. He's able to do a night job. He just sitting the boards. In general, he's a tough, tenacious guy for a Florida team. That I mean. They and Maryland, as a matter of fact, are both in the top twenty six in the country in both points scored and points a lot on a per possession basis to very well rounded teams. Walter Quainton is one best sharp shooters in all of college basketball. Does shoot less than forty percent for three. He's more in the high thirties, but can supply the team with some ten plus points per contest. Elijah Martinez mayle step up in a big way. Mid thirty three point shooter. You know that he's going to do a nice chef, I'll be able to shoot on and for Maryland. Biggest key for them holding in this game is winning the turnover battle. This team is in the top twenty five in terms of a few with turnovers on a per possession basis on offense top forty five and generating turnovers on a purposession basis on defense. To Kobe Gillespie, fourteen plus points is able to shoot north to forty percent from three. I'll have to say out a follow trouble against a Florida team that is a top ten team in terms of percentage of the midshots that result in an offensive rebound. I do think that Maryland is going to execute that. Maryland is one of the least frequent fellow teams in all of college basketball. They play very clean, very solid style in general. I know that Kevin Billard is right now deal with all the outside rumors of the Villanova job what have you. But I think that this team moves past it. I think that Maryland holds in there. I think that their overall balance is able to be just enough to give Florida the speedbump needed to be able to cover this number. I set my number at a five, so here at six plus we'll take those points with Maryland. Maybe my total one fifty three as well, so I'm in on the under end.
