We're rebly low.
Welcome to love be Las Vegas because he's with myself, Gregibs Peterson now part of the Vson Family Podcasts.
We've got a great podcast.
For you as we're gonna be joining in segment number two by Ryan McIntyre. He does such an excellent job over at the Sports Familing podcast I work with the show The College Experience. We're gonna be chatting with him a little bit about what has happened with West Virginia over the last few days. He gets some from the NCAA tournament. They have their coach and Darren Devreese decided that he is going to be heading on over to Indiana. So we do have to give them a little bit of lip service there because they deserve it. That has been less in tremendous to say Louis. So we're gonna be chatting with them a little bit on that front. And then we're gonna be talking with him about how he views the NCAA tournament all these round of sixty four games, how he filled out his bracket, some of the bets that he likes for this Thursday as well. And then in the final segment, can he get you guys picks and analysis out every game on the betting board for this college basketball Thursday, as we had some bank shots. If you do have a question comment segment idea when I have you for this podcast, you do have one of tw Way's bio for those in first one is my Twitter slash x timeline at g unit Underscore eighty one. Keep in mind LETTERCM maybe does on matters, so as per usual, please send these into the timeline. And the other way is fuyd an Apple podcast review. If you're rate this podcast, I starves that is very much appreciated. From there, you're able to fire and whatever you'd like to hear on this podcast via that five star review. To not get in any Twitter slash teks question today. But it is all brought to you today by edge Boost. Now, let's take a look back at everything that we saw in college basketball on Wednesday, try to find some trends and try to get to know these teams a little bit better.
Games for yesterday is Greig buzzing about. Here is the rowdy recap.
Now I'll let you in buying the current nine.
Doing this a little bit in advance because I've got the show cashing out both here as I record this prior to the games on Thursday, and I will have this tomorrow as well. So I'm gonna be with you guys on visin for an additional three hours during the overnights to get you guys all set for the NCAA tournament. So we've got a lot of juggling parts here with regards to this. So I don't have a final with regards a Xavier versus Sexa's game, but we did see Mount Saint Mary's absolutely take it to American eighty three to seventy two final in this one, so they cash out right as an underdog. You saw Mark Rodgers in this game go down in the first half. For American, that is your top score. You had seven points in the eight minutes they actually played. And for American they still shot it well from three they won thirteen to thirty five from three part range. Problem was a lot of Mount Saint Mary's is shoe fifty seven a percent from the floor. For the mount they were able to win the rebound battle thirty one to twenty six, and they also won the turner battle thirteen to twelve twenty two points a piece from Dola at Baio along Jenny Cordelia. For Mont Saint Mary's they were without their sharp three point shooter and Carmelo but Chaco shooting forty five percent from three, but no problem for them. They go nine of twenty two from three, with Dallas Hobbs being able to go four of eight from three part range. As I'm recording this, We've got a few n games. Then went finally the Atlantic ten. They are right now looking rock solid with regards to some of these says. We had three a Lank ten teams play in the NIT right away and one in Loyal Chicago versus San Jose s eight that I'm not going to be able to recap here. But for George Mason, they did get an eighty six to sixty nine win over sam I Amford. For Sanford they go twelve to thirty four from three, but George Mason shoots fifty percent from four twenty four to thirty six at the Free Lions. There were a lot of fellas called in this game. Sanford, they were called for twenty fellows, a team as very aggressive in terms of trying to generate turnovers. Lost that turner battle eighteen to ten, so now's less than savory for them.
UA be in a slog they take down.
Saint Jose, so they were certainly not average shows in this one sixty nine to sixty five to the final for Saint Joe's seven of thirty three from three point range. In this one, UAB does lose a turner battle fourteen to eight, but they won that rebound battle fifty two to thirty eight, and they excel Lendyborg how about sixteen points seventeens did have seven turnovers but also a pair of blocks in this game as well, And then you did see Dayton go on the road. They took it to Flora Atlantic by kount of eighty six to seventy nine. As for Flora Atlantic, they were the home team in this one because Dayton will their arena that is being utilized for the first four As for Dayton, they go thirteen of thirty from three points. Flora Lank was able to go nine to twenty two from three pints as well, but Javon Bennett had himself a big game thirty points for Dayton, so they do find a way to be able to persevere get the job done. As I am recording this right now, in North Texas, Kings of the Nit up fifty one to forty four about midway through the second half against Firman. There, Bradley is currently up double figures on North Alabama and what has turned out to be a little bit of a slog as well. And we're going to keep this one relatively brief because I know that you guys are all wanting to be taking a look at the NCAA tournament what have you. We will do that in the final two segments, so with not knowing what happened in Texas versus Avier, and I will preface because for those of you guys that listen to my podcast, on Monday, it is very much remaining the case. If Xavier wins this game, I will have them advancing to this sixteen.
If it is Texas at won that game. For Texas, I.
Would have them losing to Illinois and then have Illinois knockoff Kentucky to be able to make the Sweet sixteen. But that said, in terms of the trends that we're seeing right now in college basketball overall for the season, it's still been an overwhelming season. Fifty point six percent hit rate to the over twenty eight hundred and twenty over its two thousand and seven and fifty unders, and quite a few pushes along the way with underdogs being able to cash out of fifty point seven percent clip this year twenty eight and thirteen, two thousand and seven, and thirty six and ninety seven against the spread. And if you look at just the last seven days in college basketball, so a lot of figh pressure games, sixty eight overs, a fifty eight unders, so a fifty four percent rate to the over end underdogs going sixty four to sixty one and four against the spread in this timespan. So that's where we're seeing college basketball right now. That's what we all got on a brief Wednesday. Now let's take a look at what we're getting in the NCAA tournament. I have to talk a little bit about what has happened with West Virginia as well. That's been a little bit less than savory. But a man that is always savory, a man that is always delivering on this podcast is our good friend Ryan mcktire. As we've got Ryan mcintaryer Board, who does such great work over at the Sports Gambling Podcast Network taking a look at this great game that we all know love of college basketball. He does so many great things, including the show of the College Experience with our good friend Kobe Dant over there at the Sports Gambling Podcast Networks. Additionally, for those there are fans of West Virginia and we're gonna talk about them. Thank you, I appreciate it.
Greg Yuess definitely eventful forty eight seventy two hours for my mountaineers.
And of course the madness.
Is here, yes, it certainly is that. Before we dive into the madness, first things first, just how do you take a look at everything that's happened with West Virginia over the last week because they feel like one of the bigger NCAA tournament snubs I've seen in quite some time. And then on top of that, you lose your coach within forty eight hours or so of that. I cannot imagine a bigger gut punch for a program that really it looked like things were starting to be rebuilt after everything that.
Happened with Bob Huggins.
And I can't help but just sit here because I do a weekly spot in West Virginia myself, and just feel bad for fans of the Mountaineers.
First the selection committee and then kind of the coach. I mean the selection was it Joe Greg for you and I that actually watched all the games and follow this support from November fifth and on, and don't just turn on the TV after the Super Bowl or heck even some of these other guys that just turn it on about March.
First, we know what the resumes look like.
We know that West Virginia Beacon Zaga and they beat Arizona.
They had wanted the fog.
They beat Iowa State, you godnalyst, and that's why they had six squad one wins and what they told us, unfortunately was the games didn't matter this year and for the bubble because on it didn't matter was.
Money and brand, which is a scary thought.
And I know we have a lot of bracketology are bracketologist friends. Rocko Miller comes comes to mind, and he was quoted saying this is a sad and dark day for the sports just because he's gonna have to reevaluate what it is going forward that they do value because honestly, there's no consistency because if it's just gonna come down to all the selection committee chairs the eighty universe in North Carolina and he gets a one hundred five thousand dollars incentive in his contract, well, the North Carolina is going to be in and it doesn't matter that they went one to twelve and quadron wins and hadn't beaten an NCAA tournament team since the month of December. So it definitely a dark and sad day, and I know you agree with that as well as for the coaching church.
That's the other part of it. The breeze.
I mean, I wasn't surprised. I thought maybe he would go to Iowa a couple of months ago when that rumors that fran might shut it down, but ultimately once Indiana became a possibility, anybody that's from the Midwest knows just how.
Special that job can be.
And I know it's been a long long time since they've had it going on where it should be.
But I think it's a good fit.
I think Indiana sometimes is too much flash, too much politics, too much BS. And I think that Vreeze is just a no nonsense basketball coach. I think he's going to do a good job there for the Hoosiers.
Yep, I think so as well for Indiana getting away from the Anaer quotes here Indiana men that have not necessarily gotten the job that I actually think that that's gonna be a good thing for them moving forward, as well as we do have Ryan Actor the Sports Katy podcast network joining me right here on Coast Coast Soups. And certainly we just brought it up with regards to both of us. Disagree with North Carolina getting in the tournament, but now that's behind us, because now all you can do is handicap the teams are in. And not only did North Carolina make the tournament, they absolutely curbed some San Diego State, which I.
Was not surprised.
Aron, how do you take a look at them in their game against Old Miss, Because once again, even though I don't think that North Carolina belonged in the nc Double A Tournament, they are here. They're currently the favorite against Ole Miss, and I don't disagree with them because I do believe that North Carolina is playing some good basketball. I believe that Old Miss is not very good down low. I think that North Carolina could be another one of those teams because we see it every year that team that probably shouldn't get in the NCUBA Tournament make a run, and I think they might be cut from the exact same cloth.
Definitely a possibility.
Ironically, all the jokes about the Quad one games, San Diego State was a Quad two game, and that was the other thing that was hilarious was those were the last two teams in and they put them against each other, and they get the North Carolina an additional day off, So I think that was kind of hilarious that they literally got every single break possible. I think a lot of it has to do with how bad San Diego State had played also down the stretch. Greg I like wle Miss in that game, just because I like Chris Beard. With some adjustments and some additional film. I do get why people do like North Carolina the momentum and sometimes you just throw out stats and you just ride the momentum in the wave. But I think Chris Beard's gonna be able to put together game plan to stop this North Carolina team, and I think ole Missus athleticism really could bother them. You know what else, I keep going back to Greg and maybe this is going too far back. I just can't get that memory of the SEC just absolutely annihilating the ECC and that challenge ole Miss going to Louisville winning by like thirty, North Carolina getting blown out on their home floor. I think that the SEC is just a bad matchup for the ACC teams.
Yep. The only two wins that the ACC had was Duke of Roburn and then Watson got the job done against Kentucky, and that is a team that I do think is a little bit vulnerable. I don't necessarily think so against Troy. I think that they get the job done, win and cover that game. But I look at Kentucky, that winner of Illinois, and as we're doing this. We're not sure if it's going to be Texas or Xavier, but I do think that that's the team has a little bit vulnerable heading into the NCAA tournament, and that's a three seed that I don't think is going to be making it to the second weekend.
I agree with you, Greg, and ironically, I think a lot of people are hopping on the North Carolina Bean wagon for the team that can go to a Sweet sixteen. For the playing spot. I actually think it's in the other game. I think Texas could be that team, just with the way that they have a star and Trey Johnson. They've played up to their competition, they've played down in their competition. Now with that said, I think the Xavier game is going to be a really hard one with Texas being an underdog. If Xavier's able to win that game, I think Xavier and I like Xavier to go to Sweet sixteen.
So whoever wins.
That matchup, I'm gonna have them in my bracket going to the Sweet sixteen, just because I think that first Illinois has been kind of a little bit of a fraud in terms of just how high variants they are with their dependency on being able to make three point jump shots, which they have not done consistently all year. And then Kentucky is such a high variance team as well, just with their lack of health and then their consistency on the defensive side of the basketball.
Yep, absolutely, and I do think that it is very important to keep in mind.
Then.
Ever since the first four came into effect in the year twenty eleven, all but one year a team has gone for the first four and won a game in the round of sixty four in the NCAA Tournament. And once we saw Fairley Dickinson being the first four and they won one as the sixteen seed as well. I don't think that that's going to be the case this year. And I do think that that brings up an interesting point as well, because typically with the guards by bracket, I do want to be mixing it up, not taking so many one seeds. I want to be looking at those Cinderella teams. I was unable to do so so much this year because I do think that those four to one seeds are truly the best teams at all of college bass right now. I'm not sure how you filled out your bracket but how did you take a look at things with regards to those one seeds, because I think that all four are going to be very tough to knock down before they do reach your conference, or i should say, the regional final.
I'm with you, Greg, I'm a big guy that takes shots, especially in brack in bracket pulls, you got to take shot. I know a lot of people just like to take chock, but if you're going to take chalk, you better hit on all that chalk and your margin of air is a lot more small just.
Because everybody else is going to take a lot of chalk. So I'm with you.
I like to take chances see if I can fade some of the teams that I think could get upset that I know the public is really gonna be all and absolutely love, but I'm with you, man. The top four seeds this year, I think have definitely separated themselves completely, and I don't even think it's really close. So I had one Sweet sixteen falling in the Sweet sixteen, but other than that, I had the other two falling in the elite and the other one winning the national championship. So for me, that's pretty chalky, and I think that it's hard to make a case that any of them are going to fall in a round to thirty two. Even with Gonzaga's long crazy streak, I just can't see them being Houston.
Yeah, I'm right there with you.
It's just one of those cases where I really want to be like, oh, this three seed, this four seed, they can make a run to the final four.
And if I was stated was not deal with that injury to Kashan.
Gilbert, I could probably made a little bit more of a case for them against Auburn because they actually played in the Mammiu of Taso, But that became a little bit rough for me as well. So I'm right there with you. I do think that this year we are going to be seeing a lot of chalk there. But that said, in terms of these one versus sixteen seed matchups, we are seeing some Mondo numbers right now. We do not know what that spread it's going to be in terms of the winner of the American versus Mount Saint Mary's game, But as of right now, the other three sixteen seeds, they're all catching at least twenty points. How do you take a look at those four games, because obviously I don't think that you want to be taking a shot out of the sixteen seed on the money line. I don't see a fairly Dickts and sixth situation happening here. But I do think that those numbers are getting a little bit out of whack, and Houston is really good at being able to cover larger numbers. Them being like a twenty nine plaint favorite against SIU Edwards. Well, I'm just not jones in to lay those numbers.
And you know it's hilarious. Is I actually think like the Mount Saint Mary's team is a team that kind of profiles as a team that could give it one seat some fits, but they're playing Duke. So I'm not gonna be the guy to say, hey, take Mount Seria's on the money line if they are to be an American just with the way that they can shoot the basketball and they played that up tempo style of basketball.
But I love some of the sixteen seeds.
I think I'm gonna take the points in three out of the four games. I think Norfolk State whenever they've stepped up in competition, whether it's at Tennessee, whether it was at Baylor, they've been able to match up from an athleticism standpoint, So I do like that one SIU and Houston.
I think that thing could be more of a dragon out kind of game.
I know that Houston probably will just choke them out, but at the same time, maybe in the lower scoring game getting that big a number. And then I don't know about Oliburn. I can see Alburn just absolutely housing Alabama State coming in losing to three four. I think that they got a little bit of chip on their shoulder just because I think people forgotten how good this team was. They just have to stumble the sec down the stretch.
Yep.
Absolutely, I think that that's such a good point that you bring up. And we do have ourselves quite a few chic five versus twelve matchups out there as well. How did you take a look at this year's like five eleven, four to thirteen matches? Because I know that typically a lot of people love to be able to take these matchups, and sometimes.
I do think that's a little bit of a fools trap.
But this year, I do think that there's a lot of very lively twelve seeds that can be able to get the job done. Not just with regards of covering that spread but being able to get it done out right on the money line.
You know what's funny, Greg is I actually took every single twelve seed and I didn't even realize that. But you know what, I think that the more popular and upset pick now has kind of become that four to thirteam matchup, just because I think it's more mainstream with some of these upsets, where these five twelve games, I don't even know if they're really that big of upsets anymore. I mean, Michigan and U see San Diego, the line is two and a half and Michigan's off a.
Big ten championship.
And then on the other end, Colorado stated lighting points against Memphis, So I don't even think it's really that much of an upset anymore. The other two, I just like the matchups. I like the way McNeice is able to match up with Clemson. I think that they're athleticism and speak and bother Clempson. I know Clemson will have the advantage on the inside, but that's always the case of these five twelve matchups.
And then Liberty.
I like those little guards to be able to make shots against the Oregon zone. So I do like all the twelve seeds, and then the thirteen seeds is usually when I like to fade everybody's hype because I know a lot of people like Yale just because of their track record. I think they got a tough matchup against A and M's athleticism. Arizona Acron's an interesting one because Gross has the track record of just being able to pull off upsets in March, So looking forward to seeing that game as well.
Those are the ones that really come to mind.
Oh, Grant Canyon with their track record pulling the upset last year. I do like them at the points, so I'm mainly on the four seeds to advance, but I picked all of four to twelve seats this year.
Yeah, I do think that there's a lot of twelve seeds are so dangerous. This Liberty team is one that I very much am a believer in With McNeese, is there any concern with what we saw with will Wade accepting the NCCATE job on Wednesday, Because that's one the twelve seeds where I was willing to take the points with McNeese. I couldn't get there outright on the money line with them, and I know that a lot of people are making a lot of hub ub about it, but I did make this as a scenario where I didn't upgrade or downgrade either team in this spot. I thought that this was very much expected, and I remember Will Wade talking throughout the season that he's had open dialogue with his players about them entering into the transfer portal, about him probably not being at McNeese sex season, and I felt like this was a case where while it comes as a shock to a lot of people, I feel like the guys in the locker room were expecting this, and I think that they're still going to be all in for this game on Thursday.
Yeah, Greg, I actually think it may be a rallying point and I think we'll wage And I love Will Wade.
He would be put them on our show, and.
I think it's refreshing to just be openly honest rather than play the game where oh I'm not late, and then what twelve hours later you see your coach in the news cycle and he's taking another job. So I think that getting the monkey out of the room and basically saying, hey, this is what's gonna happen, this is our final run.
Let's rally.
Let's play for each other one last time. If we win, we get to play again with each other another round. If we lose, it's been a run. So I actually think it was a good strategy on will Waite's part, announcing it or getting it announced the night before.
Yeah, and with Wade, he's always been a very open book, sometimes maybe a little bit too open of a book in Cuba. Wasn't as lenient with Nil what have you. But you know what, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Is there anything else that you're taking a look at in terms of Thursday in the NCAA tournament, because it's one of the best days of the year for both of us. I know you've got action on pretty much all these games. You've got your bracket all filled out. Anything else that you have your eye on.
Yeah, I was able to pull up the bracket again that other four to thirteen matchup that I mentioned. I do like Purdue. I'd like this high point team all year long, but I just think that defense they're not going to be able to stop purdueing.
I love Brady Smith.
There is something about the psychological part of March madness. In my opinion, Greg where if you've gotten upset and you've been a part of those teams coaching staffs where you've laid an egg as a three two and produce case a one seed, you never forget that and you never really ever get caught looking a hat again, because I mean for you to lose as a one, two or three seed, the lower seat's got to play really well, but the higher seed also has to be a complete cruise control sleep at the wheel, and a lot of things got to happen to go wrong to lose as a twenty to twenty five point favorite or whatever the line is. So I do like for due to be laser focus in another first round matchup, just two years removed from that fairly Dickinson game. I do like Cradon early in the day as well, that experience with cal Brenner Nashworth and then the final one. I've been high on VCU all year. I'd like the BYU, but I think they got a tough matchup the teams in the Big twelve that gave BYU fits where the athletic, bigger teams with bigger guards. VCU, in my opinion profiles, is that side. I do like the Rams there.
And I think that it's going to be such an intriguing day on Thursday and college basketball and this entire round of sixty four. I think that there's gonna be a lot of hoopla. Albeit I don't think that we see fairly Dinkotson two point zero here. But what we always get on this show is great analysis from you.
Ryan.
You do such an amazing job. Takeing a look at this great game of college basketball. Let the good people at home know it's all on time for you and how people can fall on on social media and other platforms.
I appreciate it. Greg is always and it's the madness is here.
Go check it so out over at the College Experience and West Virginia fans, if you want to do another coaching search, third time in three years, come over to the Ryan and Russia.
Heck, we even did a football search last year too.
It has been a wild, wild ride, to say the least. If you've been a fan of West Virginia and the Mountaineers, Hopefully better days are soon to come because they certainly deserve it. Much like our good friend Ryan, who does such an amazing job. Take a look at this great game that we all know in love of college basketball and every single time he joins me well and such great insights. So big thanks for Ryan for joining me on Casca Seeps South part the Visa Family podcasts. And next hit is that time in the podcast they give you picks an analysis on every game on the betting board for this college basketball Thursday.
They's ground of sixty four Thursday. As we touch them off.
Never reg you love you Las Vegas forcus Seeps with myself Greg Heeps Peterson now part of the Vsent Family podcast. Always great to be joined by Ryan McIntyre does such great workover at the Sports Gambling podcast Network looking at this game that we all know in love of college basketball. Every single time he joins me lend such good insights. Did so once again today, so a big thanks to him for joining me. And last segment nowadays that time the podcast they give you picks in analysis on every game on the betting board for this college basketball Thursday. As we had some bank shots.
Most financial establishments close at a certain time, but not here. It is time for a sign in total on every game on today's betting board.
Bank shots.
Do note that, as per usual, any changes there made these plays. We'll be listened up on my Twitter Slishik's feed at g A Underscore eighty one. And we're gonna keep this one pretty straightforward. We're going with the sixteen NCAA Tournament games. Now, rotation Order does do it by region, so we're gonna go with the games in the Midwest region first, and for some reason we've got Midwest region games in the third pot as well, so it's pretty much in pod order. I guess it goes from the East coast to the West coast. I guess that's how they decide to do it with this one. Like I'm not quite sure, but you're gonna be getting picks on sixteen NCAA Tournament games again, Las Vegas Crotation Order. It gets to be a little bit funky donkey with regards to these regions and what have you, But you know what, we're gonna give you guys some picks. We're gonna give you guys some winners. And it starts with seven forty five forty six on the card. McNeice is gonna be taking on Colempson. This is from AMCA Pavilion aka the dun Can. I know with Clemson they are seven a half to an eight point favorite. The loss game is between one thirty three and a half to a one thirty four, and the summer has moved quite a bit because McNeese coach in Will Wade, he decided to take the ncctate job. From everything I'm seeing, he's still going to be coaching this game. It sounds like he had open dialogue with his players that this could be coming up, So I'm not too shocked there. And this doesn't make the team that's one of the more balanced teams in all of college basketball. I was not able to get there outright with them because Clumpson is also a very balanced team. This is a Clemson squad that has really been able to step it up on defense. As a matter of fact, they're better on defense this year than they were when they made the Elite A a season ago. Clempson is twenty eighth in the country in terms of points allowed on a purposesge basis, and it's really been able to travel this scene. When they're in a road slide shot core venue, they are a top twenty five team with the guards to points allowed on a purposessh basis, they are a top fifteen team in terms of generating turnovers and Evan mcnee's team that has been a top twenty five team in terms of turnovers generated on a purposesge basis. This mcde team has been a top forty team with the guards points allowed on a purposess basis away from home and DJ turned it up Richards. In conference play, he was able to shoot north of forty nine percent from three points. Christian schulemate Joe charles Ley combined for thirteen rebounds per game. They're gonna have a tough time with clumps and the fact that you've got Chase Hunter who shoots on with a forty percent from three points. But what I do think is going to be the big difference maker for Clemson, avoiding the upside ear when you're able to get out of six point eight in Cheflin, who gives you a twelve and a half points, nine and a half boards, he shoots thirty five percent for three and Victor Lockin he's saying it's about six foot eleven or so eleven and a half points, six a half boards. He shoots thirty seven and a half percent from three point Chieva with McNeese having Kiddy or Copad who's a little bit of a six six point forward. I do think then this Clemson team just offers a little bit too much. They're solid at not allowing you to be able to get to the free throw line. They themselves don't turn the ball over a ton while shooting north of thirty seven percent from three points. For this McNee team, the offense was able to come along for the ride towards the back half of the season. Much of that was against shall we say, some shaky Selthland defenses, though, so I do think that in this spot mcdee's gonna have a little bit of a tough time with Clempson. I think that Clemson gets a job done. But I did some on line at six so here to seven a half to a eight, I'm going to be won think those points with mcnee's and I did sell my total out of one thirty four. Right now we're seeing this between a one thirty three and a half to a one thirty four. Now that we're getting down to a one three three and a half, I think that this is just close enough for late game following. Even though both of these teams are outside the top two seventy five inturves of total possessions rame. Both are very efficient offenses. So like the over, and I do like the points here with McNeese eight on the card. High point the open to not be a low point against Purdue out there at a Meekap pavilion right now with high point thirty seven a half to an eight point dog. In your totals game, it is between one fifty two and a half to a one to fifteen three and a half. Take the points with high point, I personally advance them on my bracket. I don't want them necessarily outright on the money line in your bracket. Typically you take a few more swings with regards to some of these upsets rather than with your bets. You're trying to be able to just be able to put yourself on the side of being profitable. So I do think that you do want to play your bets pritz a little bit differently than your bracket, and I did so here with only taking the points and not the money line with high point. But still certainly like the points, says I did some of my line at three. This is a Purdue team that has been just not great. Download to say, least fiftieth in off college basketball in terms of the opponents two point shooting percent.
That is very glaring.
When you've got Johnson Bodu Bodhu, who's a two time a Big Seuth Defensive Player of the Year, giving you about eight and a half rebounds per game. He has been doing a rock solid job for the team. Download and then additially Chase Johnson forty three percent three point shooter. He only gives you about seven points per contest, but he is a one trick Bony that is very very good at that one trick of being able to pop it and lock it from three points gen Obviously, with this perdue team, you do have some relatively good play in the back court, Fletcher Lawyers being able to shooting Noru with a forty four percent from three points. Braiden Smith, I do believe is one of the best guards in all of college basketball, but it turned into a case where he just needs to do a little bit too much of everything for the team. Even with Trey Kaufman Ryan being brock so alid down low twenty points, six boards, He's been a very good offensive player, leaves a lot to be desired defensively, so Braden Smith eight and half assists, so a fewer than three turnover screen sixteen points per contest. He's been able to do a good job there at CJ. Coxwas his thirty eight and a half percent three point shooting. He stepped up in a big way. But outside of your main starting five, you don't necessarily get a lot of scoring guys like Cameron Heidi, Caleb First and Company.
And for I point, you've been able to.
Get a lot out of the overall ancillary pieces for the team. Abdula fiam who is a really good score for them a few seasons ago. He's seeing a little bit of a drop off, but he's still a rock solid score. It's able to give you about six points per contest to Morio Williams has been very versatile as he gif like Kamani Hambleton, I'll give you about two and emphasis per contest. Will Bobby Pettiford, who is the part that Kansas team that won the title over North Carolina a few seasons ago. He's been able to give out three and Halphaesis Pettiford is someone that she's forty percent from three Williams, She's forty percent from three points high point overall a top ten team terms of point scored on a purposess basis in games played away from home. This is a defense that has been able to improve as the season has won along as well. Not gonna call it amazing, but a top one twenty team terms of upon a two point shooting percentage, they're okay being able to guard the perimeter. I'm not going to necessarily call them amazing. And they don't generate the same amount of turnovers has perduperd is a doub sixty five unit in terms of turnovers force on a purposession basis. But this is a high point team that when they're away from ho they're lying part is to shoot just thirty two point nine percent from three points to nine point relative. We've been TEPO team outside the top tuner with reguards to total possessions. Brame Purdue as a unit that is actually closer about three are three of the guards to total possessions brain so didte I total one to fifty three here at a one fifty two and a half to a one to fifty three and a half. I do like that one fifty three and a half under to go along with the points with high point some forty nine SEMs fifty on the card. You've got Arkansas playing against Kansas. This is going to be from a meetup pavilion as well, and with Kansas area five to five and a half point favorite, so all skame between one forty five and a half to a one forty six. I do believe that a built self coach team is just going to be too disciplined to let themselves lose in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. But I do think that this is going to be a rather tight one. I will't take the point says. I did sell my line at a four and a half. And initially this has been a Kansas team that has been really good with their defense. When they've been away from home, they've been a top twenty five unit on all of college basketball terms, points a lot on a per possession basis, and a road slisher Core venue. Now you do have a Arkansas team that on the flip side, it's been a little bit in ourments for them with regards to their defense.
When they leave home. Away from home, they've.
Been a bunch has been scoring in turns of points a lot on a purposes basis outside the top seventy with regards to that, But you do have an Arkansas team that they might be getting back Boogie Flying in this one. But again, if Boogie fan Flying plays at all in this game, who knows what you're going to be able to get out of him. When he was out there on the floor, he was a relatively said three point shooter. He was able to score for this team wrote the twelve points per contest, but with the layoff being as long as it is and this Arkansas team really being able to find their bearings, that is a big giant question mark for them. What has really been the X factor for them recently has been John L. Davis and what he's been able to do along with the two injured big men Trevron Brazil laun jonas Ado. With Brazil a lot they do both of these guys in conference play, everything a little bit closer about ten points per contest, both of these guys playing in there a relatively rock solid amount of rebounds per game as well, And then initially when you take a look at John L. Davis ninety eight difference from the being part of the season in non conference play, this was the guy that was given you single digits and wrong conference play. This was more like twelve points per game. But if you boil it down a little bit further and you take a look at things. Ever since, we're gonna call it the lighter half of January. The last game that they played in January, through the month of February and March, he has played in this time fourteen times. He has been able to give the team fourteen a half points, two assists, shooting bout thirty two and a half percent.
From three points.
Would like to see that be a little bit higher, but has been able to do a much better job for this team. And then on the flip side for Kansas, has been a case where A. J. S. Forges has not been great for the team. He's had a few moments of brilliance, but only about seven to seven a half points per game. It's really been about what Zeke Mayo has been to bring to the table. He's supplying the team with fourteen a half points, three assists, five boards, and under Diakins that should be able to control things down low ten boards, seventeen and a half points. He's not necessarily gonna give you a lot in terms of three points shooting, but it's able to pop it from three points. The colluction is, are these guys like Ryan Griffin, Florrie Bodoga, guys like this it would be enough for this team to be able to get over the top and cover the spread. I think the answer is no. I think that Kansas they void the outright upset, but has seen Away from Home has been outside the top two twenty five in terms of points scored on a purposession basis, and that's big reas why I'm in on the under in this spot. I did somebody total at a one forty two and a half, So won't take a shot on the under with Arkansas here at a five plus. Gonna be willing to take the points with them as well. Some fifty one, some fifty two also out there on a Mika pavilion. You get yourself, Omar going up against Sint John. Saint John's is currently an eighteen to an eighty eight and a half point favorite.
It's all this game and has.
Ticked up to a one forty eight one forty eight and a half, and I did somebody total one forty seven. I'm gonna be diving in on the under with Oma, this has been a good three point shooting team and conference play John north of forty percent from three. In non conference play, this was a unit as well outside the top one fifty turns of points scoring on a purposession basis. I think that their offensive metrics are very much war by the fact that they played and shall we say, one of the most ghastly defensive conferences in all of college basketball. It is an O my team that's gonna be looking to play with some basin for Saint John's, they have been one of the more fast teams in all of college basketball. Even though the Saint John's team top three team in all of college basketball in terms of points a lot on a purpose edge basis, top thirty team in terms of turnovers force on a purposeage basis, absolutely dominating on the glass. The defense that they've been able to provide with the long seventy points of fear in so many of these games has been coming through despite the fact that they are a team that is in the top fifteen in terms of total possessions. Bringing ball Oma, they're a little bit more of a mid TEPO team winner fifty thirty in terms of total possessions per game. And this is an Oma team that the one thing that they have done on defense, they're not allowing second and third chances in terms of percentage of mid shots the resulting in an offensive rebound. Their number six in all of college basketball, lying buttons to grab just twenty one point nine percent of their mid shots as an offensive rebound. Again, much more of that has to do with the conference that they play in rather than the seam being rock solid down low.
Though you know, markl.
Subdy's been able to give the team seventy plus point seven rebounds per game. And I've level I've seen out JJ White. He began the season playing off the ball for his career has been a little bit more of a facilitator. They tried to get him to play a little bit of a new role. They realized that that was not working out, and in conference played dulled out north of a five per contest, shot over forty percent for three points overall for the season.
It's flaying the team with fourteen points per game.
But for this bunch in Saint John's, they are going to be able to absolutely dominate down low because I've had zub edgefer be a man amongst boys out there, right around about two blocks per contest, throws in their eight rebounds, double figure amount of points, fourteen half points per contest. The biggest script night that you've got for the Saint John's team is the fact that they are right around about three and fortieth and off college basketball, the guards for a three point shooting percent. They're only shooting as a collective thirty and a half percent from the outside. But r J Luis he has been tremendous for the team eighteen and a half points, seven boards for the season. He's only shooting about thirty two and a half percent from three points. But this is really starting to take northward. He had a big game in the game against Creating a week ago in the Big East title game. And then additionally, Kidari Richmond Davion's with are combining for north of nine assists per contest. They do a nice shot hitting the glass. As a tandemis they're able to give you combined about eleven and a half rebounds per game, and oh my, it's just not going to be able to match up with that. This is a Saint John's team has been one of the better teams in terms of being able to guard the interior as well. This has been an Oma team that shot it well from three, but again that was against some of the worst three point shinning defenses in all of college basketball. I do think that for Saint John's, they go out there, they completely dominate down low, even though the three point shooting is very much lax of days ago. I do think that they're going to be able to win this game convincingly. As a result, I did sell my line in nineteen. I'm going to be willing to lay up to eighteen and a half year with Saint Johnson. With regards to subtle I did some mine at a one forty seven. Now that we're taking up to a one forty eight plus, just don't think that Oma is going to be able to do their part against the cifling defense. So in on the under end, going to be willing to lay here with Saint John's some fifty three some fifty four on the card. You've got Auburn and Alabama State to a battle from rap Arena, And with Auburn they have ticked up to being a thirty two to a thirty two and a half way favorite ass game between one forty nine a half to a one fifty, and I set my line at thirty two, and now I personally bet this on the opener. This opened up in a lot of places more around about a thirty one or so, and I set my line at thirty two. Thirty two and a half would begin to be my bypoint there. But I want to put it out there that I did bet this at a lower number. But that said, I just when you get past at thirty two, it's really rough because I do think that Auburn is gonna go out their stop the yard. This is a Auber team that is in the top five nationally in terms of points scored on a purposedge basis, and a lot of people lose sight of the defense. They've also been a top fifty five team and turns points a lot on a burd position basis. Albeit they do give up about fifteen half points more per one air possessions when they leave home rather than when they are at home, but much of that was against really good competition. They weren't playing teams like Alabama State when they're away from home. To say, listen, this is an Alabama State team. To their credit, they are number one in all of college basket well in terms of fewest turnover sunny purposedge basis when they're away from home. Man said, this is an Alabama state team, then they're not necessarily a great interior shooting team. They're outside the top three thirty five in terms of their two point shooting percent. You do have to TJ Madlock, who is the son of the coach Tony Badlock, who's done a very nice job being able to give the teams some solid production as they're on their twelve and a half points seven rebounds per contest. He is a long guy on the roster. It gives you an north a five point five bounds per game and he sands six foot three. They have absolutely no chance against you. And I Room, You've got one guy and just Stephen Walker who stands about six foot six. That seeds regular minutes. And that's about it. And for this bunch on the flip side in Auburn, I know that things have been less than savery losers of three of their last four, but that was in what I believe to be the toughest conference pretty much in the history of college basketball. G and I Broom nineteen point cent and a half boards three as says, he's able to pop it from three. And then your guards Denver Jones, Shad Baker, Mazzari, Miles Kelly Toash Pettiford, they all give you between ten point seven and twelve and a half points per contest. All three of these guys should at least thirty seven point six percent from three point range. All these guys knocked down their free throws. All these guys are able to help you distribute as well. The sovereign team, they are only turning the ball over nine times for contests. So while Alabama STATEA has been very efficient with the ball, so as a sovereign team, I just don't think that they are going to be able to get very good clean looks. They are just completely outgunned with the guards or a size. That said, again, with the sovereign team, if they get up thirty points late, they could end up just pulling a few guys off the floor and that turns what could be a thirty five point win and more like a thirty two or so point win. So that's a big reason why I did some number at thirty two. And you do have a bar Knox on the flip side for Alabama State, give you fourteen a half points per contestant. Ce Ja Hines is a guy that shoots every nine percent for three two and a half says fourteen points per game. So I do think that you're gonna get some relatively good offense in this game. But I do think that with Alabama State certainly finding it up all battle on this one, I did some my turtle at a one fifty two, so you're at the one forty nine a half one fifty. I'm gonna be one thing shot on the over. And with this Auburn team, I was one to lay up at thirty two. They're laid the opener with that at thirty two and a half plus that becomes my bypoint on Alabama State some fifty five to fifty six on the card. You've got Creyton taking on Louisville, and Louisville does find themselves as a two and a half point favorite.
Tuntal on this game.
It is between one forty five to doers one forty five and a half in with this Louisville squad, I did set them as a three and a half point favorite. I'm gonna be willing to lay the number with Creyton, they have to coach to Rupp Arena and play Louisville in their home state, so that's going to be a disadvantage for them. And this Green team just has not impressed me with the way that they've taken care of the ball. Outside the top two twenty five, there's a turnovers on a per possession base as well. They do absolutely nothing in way of being a generate turnovers in terms of turnovers force on a pur possession basis three hundred and sixty first in all of college basketball. Meanwhile, it's a Louisville team that they may not be some sort of a heat seeking missile or anything like that, but they're a top one in our team with regards to turnovers force on a purpossession basis. Now, the big issue that you do have with this Louisville team is that during the tournament that they played out there for the SEC Tournament, they were without Rayne Smith. Rain Smith he has number four in all of college basketball, making about three point four threes per game, but it seems as though he should be good to go for this one. He was warming up for the NCAA tournament practice that they had yesterday, and it looks like he should be all good to go here and that's going to be big for this Louisville team, as it felt like a little bit more of a precaution that he set out in that ACC tournament.
I think that he's going to be fine.
And additionally, you've got Chuckieupperno has been able to give you fourteaen plus points per contest, throws in their six assists, two seals, nice sat cheets suffering, while Ryan kulp Brenner is the most dominant localst player in this game, given for creating two and nine blocks per contest, has become a mid thirty three point shooter as well, so he's been able to lover some good versatility. He's able to give you nine plus rebounds per game by and Neil has relatively good versatility as well. This Louisville team has been surprisingly good on the glass. You've been able to get about seven a half boards twelve points per game out of Javon Hadley and then James Scott has been able to throw in their six rebounds per game. And additionally, with Hadley, he's being able to shoot about thirty six percent from three points, just as a Loisville team that in games played away from home, they're shooting north of thirty six percent for three points when rain Smith is out there on the floor. That's the top fifty mark in all of college basketball for this Louisville team.
Additionally, they've done a.
Pretty solid job not allowing a lot of second and third chances, and I do think that that's going to be able to win out here, especially against the great defense that they just don't really force the issue in us. Louisville team also a top thirty team with reguards there two point shooting percent. So I did see my total at a one forty five and a half. I'm mollant away up to three here with Louisville, and right now we're seeing a few one to forty five's out there, one forty five or less. I'm going to be in on the over some fifty seven fifty eight on the card. You've got UCLA taking on Utah State. Utah State is a five and a half point underdog Tonos game. It is one forty four to one forty four and a half. I personally took UTAs State all right on the money line for my righte up, I gave out the plus five and a half to be a little bit more conservative there, but I said, I think the Utah State is able to win this game out right on the money line. You've got a UCLA team that when they played games in the Eastern and Central time zones just two and seven this year. You've heard McK coronin Badger and complain about oh the travel this, travel that and everything like that. And this has just been a UCLA defense that hasn't been the same defense when they've been away from home. So one of the best teams at generating turnovers, a top eight team with the guards to turnovers force on a purposesge basis, and if you look at just the points allowed on a purposesge basis, this continues to be a top thirty five team in all of college basketball, but massive fall off when they've been away from home this far this season, as they are giving up about sixty and a half points more for one hour possessions when they leave home rather than when they are at home. You do have a Utah State team that they themselves have fallen off the table a little bit. With the guards to the defense are down to about are and thirty two in all of college basketball in terms of points a lot on a purposess basis. But I do think that with the Utah State having Ubega down most six' ten big man that's shooting jar near seventy percent from, before they're going to be very efficient. There it is A utahsaight team has been a top twelve team all season long in terms of points scored on a perposession, basis and THIS ucla team not bad with the guards their, offense but it's not necessay. Amazing you don't nessally have that one set point, guard as you've got three separate, Guys Sky, Clark Kobe, johnson And Dylan. Andrews between the three of, them you do get about nine point one assist per, contests and between those three only about four point two turnovers per. Game but all three of those guys between about seven eight points per. Contest Tyler billade Along Eric, daily these have been your main constants with the guards of scoring combining for twenty five and a half points per. Contest both shoot a combined about forty percent from three point. Range as, well you've got one guy that's able haul on their boards In Kobe johnson is also one of your main facilitators with six rebounds per. Game AND i do think that the guys like a stair saying, company get to do a roxolid job down low to the credit OF ucla top fifty team with the guards of defensive rebound. Percentage but for THIS ucla, bunch if you're able to break through and you don't turn the ball, over there is some open shots to be. Had THIS ucla team hovering right around about two arned with the guards to opponents two point shooting, percentage and they're not the world's worst team with reguards of being able to guard the, perimeter but they do leave something to be. Desired right, now they're about ur and thirtieth and opponents three point shooting percent going up again to about thirty five and a half percent in a roadside shurtch core ven. You, meanwhile you To state away from home lying puts a shoot closer to thirty three percent from three. POINTS i do think that you get yourself a relatively bin tempo game. Here Utah state is a relatively bin tempo, team and you see all he's been about turn fiftieth with regards to total possessions per. Game SO i did some my total at a one forty, two you are at one forty, four one forty four and a half in on the, under AND i do Like Utah state outright on the money line some fifty nine to sixty on the. Card i've Got tennessee And whafford doing, battle And wafford is a underdog of eighteen and a half. Points totals between one thirty three seis high as a one thirty four and a. Half and did some my toll one thirty three and a, half so here to one thirty four, Plus i'm gonna be willing to take a shot on the. Under you do have yourself A tennessee unit that has been just so dominant with their, defense top eight team in the country in terms of points allowed on a purpose edge, basis and this has been a while for. Team then, well they've been really giving it up on the. Inside it's by the fact that they're one of your better rebound rate teams in all of college. Basketball kyler phil which he's been able to do a niceyll being able to give you nine to rebounds per Am yale so shoots those granny style free Throw so that's been very, interesting to say the. Least but you've also got the bay leaves for This wafer team as, well one of which is one of your better three point shooters in all of college basketball is right. Now Justin bailey shoots forty five percent for three nine a half points per, contest doesn't take a ton of, threes but has been effective. There Dan bailey shoots closer to thirty four percent for three eleven a half points per, contest While Corey tripp he has been a trip in with fourteen, points four, boards three assists per. Game but this is also a wall for unit that they don't do anything in way of generating turnovers outside the top three er or regards to. Turnovers force on a per possession basis hovering right around about to round fortieth in the country and opponent's two point shooting percent as, well so that's been a bit of a detriment to. Them and this is A tennessee team that has A Chans lanier who's done a nice job given the. Scene between eighteen to eighteen and a half points per, game he continues to shoot forty percent from three. Points To Kay, ziegler some point three assists of three turnovers per. Game now you're gonna need to Get Jordan gainey to really need to be, that shall we, say like third man who's telling you shout about thirty percent from. Three But felix Willpower Igor. Milchich these guys have things on lockdown the down, low and combined thirteen rebounds per.
Game you've got a.
Power is able to give you one point seven blocks per contest as. Well it's A tennessee bunch as a top forty five team in terms of opponent zuo point shooting percentage For, tennessee, well they do have sometimes they're shall we, say shooting. Balls they don't get out of control with the ball as. Well they may turn the ball for about ten and a half times per, game a top seventy five team in terms of ball. SECURITY i do think that they've got enough offense to be able to cover the, summer AND i think that that defense just going to continue as stifle. Somebody total one thirty three and a. Half i'm in on the under of one thirty four higher and with Thennes se made them a twenty one half point. Favorite want to lay up to twenty one with them some sixty one some sixty two on the. Card it Is houston and they are going to be playing AGAINST Siu. Weddersville edwardsville does find themselves as underdogs of twenty eight and a half to twenty nine points totals between one twenty six a half to one twenty seven and a. Half in with This edwardsville, team some of them as an underdog of twenty five, points it does become very hard to be able to cover this sort of a number. One you've got A houston team that is outside the top three to fifty five in terms of total possessions per, game And, HOUSTON i, think is going to go out there stifle be number one in all of college basketble in terms of points a lot on a purposession basis as they happen all season. Long and then you do Have Emmanuel SHARP. Lj, cryer who both shooting north of forty percent for, three both shoot north of eighty nine percent at the free flying and my loose who's on this guy's been absolutely incredible down the stretch last ten games of the, season aftering north of fourteen points per, contest shooting well north of forty percent from, three really efficient at the point guard. Spot But Rashwan taylor on the flip side eighteen plus. Points he's able to throw on their four boards for. Assists he's been a nice sat sheet suffer For. Edwardsville this has been An edwardsville team that by the, way they have been a top one our team with the guards of their overall rebound. Percent now that's going to go into the abyss when you have to go up Against Joseph tugler Or Jawan, roberts guys like this for you send those two guys they can buying for about thirteen rebounds per. Game BUT i don't think that they get as badly bludgeoned as some people. Think with ring THE laif at six foint nine having some good versatility with about seven boards per, Contest Miles thompson has been able to stretch a floor as. Well he's at forty four percent three point, shooter has been able to give you about five and a half points four rebounds per, game and as a, collective that's how You editsville does a solid job of. Rebounding they really hang their head on, defense being a top twenty five team terms of opponents two point shooting. PERCENT i think that this is going to be a slow slog of a. GAME i do think That edwardsville they lose this, game and they lose this game. Convinsically do think that the number has just gotten a little bit out of, hand THOUGH i did something a total at a one twenty five and a, half So i'm in on the under and at north of twenty, five and think those points with Edwards hill some sixty, three seven sixty four on the betting, board you've got, Yourself, georgia they're gonna be taking On. Gonzaga this is from In Trust, arena by the way as, well so that's for these next four. Games AS Si order. V Versus sason was the first of the games at Intrusts, arena and Four, gonzaga they do find themselves as a six a half to a seven point. Favorite total has gone downward to a one fifty to a one fifty and a. Half, PERSONALLY i still do like the, under like did a little bit more when it was more on a one fifty two one fifty two and a, half but still playable. HERE i did set my total at a one forty eight and a.
Half as you've got.
Yourself A gonzaga unit that just has not been the same team with their three point shting percent when they've been away from. Home at, home they shoot north of thirty six a half percent from three point shinner road slash whig court, venue this does fall all the way down to about thirty one point one percent from three. Points, meanwhile For, georgia this is about one of the worst three point shooting teams when they've been away from home in all of college. Basketball as a matter of, fact they're outside the top two seventy in terms of points scored on a purposess basis in a roadside shoot core, venue shooting just twenty eight point four percent from three points away from. Home, now it is A georgia team that has been pretty rock solid with the. Guards their defense top sixty five unit terms of points allowed on a purposess, basis and if they weren't playing AN sec schedule they would probably be much better with that regard as. Well but this is A gonzaga team that we always think about the. Offense how about this defense being one that's in the top twenty in terms of points allowed on a purposess basis as. Well they only give up about some points more per one hour possessions when they leave. Home you've Got GRAHMY k downlow who's able to give you a seven, board sixteen plus points per. Game ryan number as we, know he's very efficient with the ball and assists at turner ratio four leaves all of college basketball with reguards to his, assists has been solid with regards to his, shooting not necessarily, amazing but has been able to get the job done. There as for three point in, season shooting about thirty nine a half percent from, three, Well Nolan hickman has been that main three point, shooter making forty three and a half percent of his. Triples Kay Leaf battle a little bit of a disappointment there thirty three percent three point, shooter but still it gives you thirteen points per. Contest With, GONZAGA i did set them as a six a half point. FAVORITE i do think that they have been better than perhaps their record would. Indicate but this is A georgia team That, additionally they've Got Austin, well WHO i really. Like ausonewell has been a nice job as a, freshman being able to spy the team with fifteen, points seven boards and Then, additionally Blue cane off the, ball he's been able to give you about nine half points, expected a little bit more than the thirty four percent three point. Shooting but If georgia heads to the free throw, line now they're top five scores all but one of. Them they shoot at least seventy seven percent of the free, line with the well shooting seventy four and a half percent of the free. Line so they do a nice job, there and this has been a team that has been a top forty team in all of college. Basketball the guards a free throw attempts per, game so they have actually done a pretty solid job with their offense of being able to get. There but again the shooting is. Suspect georgia outside the top two seventy five terurards the ball, SECURITY i do think that this is going to be a little bit of a sloppier. GAME i do think That conzaga pulls it, Out but this is A georgia team that they allow opponents to only shoot about thirty one percent from three. Points that is a top forty five mark in all of college basketball and should be just enough for them to remain lively in this one semi line at six a, half so at some plus we'll take those points With georgia and on the under semi total at a one forty eight and a half some sixty, five some sixty six on the betting, board you've got The drake and they take On missouri out there in The midwest. Region and For missouri they are a favorite of between five and a half and six points tonals. Game you're going to be finding it around one thirty two to a one thirty, three And i'm all to go over in this. SPOT i recognize That drake in terms of total possessions per game for a just forty, minutes so this excludes, overtime they're the solw seem in all of college. Basketball that, SAID i do think that the offensive efficiency of both of these teams is going to be just enough for you to be able to get. Over and if there is one place Where drake is a little bit, vulnerable they are outside the top two thirty in terms of opponents two point eight. Percent this is A missouri team has been very good at generating, turnovers a top forty team with reguards to turnovers force on a per possession, basis and it's A missouri team that they've been able to do a really good job of their three point. Sitting all season. One they shoot thirty nine and a half percent from three points at. Home that does follow the thirty three point two percent away from, home but still overall thirty seven. Percent that's the top forty mark in all of college. Basketball, meanwhile this has been A drake team that they themselves are knocking down about thirty five percent of their. Threes that's a top one twenty marks in all of college. Basketball drake very good team in terms of generating turnovers as. Well they're a top twenty five team terms of turnovers force on a purpossession. Basis but you do have A missouri team that does a very good job in terms of taking care of the. Ball they turn the ball over less than eleven a half times per. Contests despite the fact that they are more of an up tempo, team they are a team that ranks in the top winner with regards to total possessions per. Game AND i do think that With, missouri you're gonna be able to get a lot out Of Cailo gurrill in this. Game sixth man who's been able to give you thirteen half points from three point chives right, now shooting north of forty percent from the outside Of Mark mitchell has given the team a bit more down low as. Well fourteen points five boards per. Contest missouri over the last few years has been one of the worst rebound rate teams in all of college, basketball and they do go up against A drake team that they really do a nice job of not allowing second and third chances in terms of percent of misshots that results in an offensive rebound for their. Opponents drake they allow fewer than seven offensive rebounds per, game eighteenth overall in terms of defensive rebound, percent so they're preventing a lot of those second and third. Chances but they have a guy In mitch Bit scarry's shooting north of forty percent from three Point che's been able to give you double. Figures and Then Bennett. Sertz he does a little bit of everything eighteen, points six, boards multiple. Seals but they just haven't played a lot of teams like This missouri. Bunch they did take Down vanderbilt earlier in the, season but as we, Know vanderbilt is a team that really allowed a lot of shots from. Three Prit gen this is A missouri team that they are going to allow a few open looks for three point in and that should be able to help Out drake as, well and that should be able to help you out with the guards of total as. Well as this is A missouri team that right now they're allowing teams to shoot from three parint e gen that neighbored about thirty four point four percent from three point in roadside shoot core. VENUE i do think That drake they're going to be able to hold in. THERE i don't think That drake is going to be able to pull off this upset on the money. LINE i did Advance missouri my, bracket BUT i think that this is going to be close enough For lake game, felling which is going to be able to help you out with the guards side total as. Well and With missouri being a team that does a very solid job of not turn the ball over too much in terms of turnovers per, game only about ten and a half despite their uptempos, STYLE i did think they get enough clean possessions for the. Overs so to take my total overright By tola one thirty seven eight With missouri sethem as five point. Favorite so we'll take the six plus year with The drake seven to sixty, seven seven to sixty eight on the, Card Texas tech AND Unc woman did do, battle And wilmington currently finds themselves as a fourteen and a half to a fifteen point. Underdog it's all s game between one forty two to one forty two and a. Half said by line at fifteen and a, Half i'm gonna be willing to lay With Texas. Tech this Sexas sex squad has been very good on just both sides of the, ball top forty team in terms of both points scored and points a lot on a purpose esh.
BASIS.
Jt toppin should be able to win that battle down load with fourteen plus point nine plus rebounds spreame Now Hole Harland, obina who comes down over From, niagara a two to seven. Footer he's been very good for the team down. Low he's been able to give you a north of a block perk. Contest he's all in their six rebounds per. Game Chase ross has been able to give you six plus rebounds per. Game but it's A wilmington team that is a top twenty five squad in all of college basketball in terms of percent of the mid shots the resulting an offensive rebound and conference, play they've been shooting down near thirty six percent from three part. Range BUT i think that this is just too much size and too much. VERSATILITY i Have Texas tech for them to be able to hold in this. Game you've been able to get some tremendous production with that neighbored about fourteen a half points five and a half parts three and emphasis out Of Darion. Williams chance McMillan is one of the best sharp shooters you're gonna find in the, country shooting forty three and a half percent from three points to north of eighty eight percent at the free. Thly and that's a big thing with the SEXIST sec team as. Well out of your top six, scores all but one of them shoot at least seventy eight and a half percent of the free thly on top and shooting more like seventy percent at the free thly in some these, guys if you need them to free throws to be able to get you a cover with this big of a, SPREAD i would doubt that you'd be finding yourself in that sort of. Scenario but they are able to hit those they only turn the ball for ten times for.
Contest as.
Well while being a relatively rock solid, team a top seventy five team with regards to upon a three point shooting, percentage they do a pretty good job on the interior as. Well this is A wilmington team that has been able to get a lot out Of Donovan, nubie who's been supplying the team with about fourteen a half points per, game and conference play has just really went nuclear from three point shooting thirty nine percent from the. Outside nolan hosh he shot in conference played forty seven percent from three Point james letly ridiculous, there but team overall shot about thirty four percent for three non conference. Play when they were going up against The Coastal, conference they had a little bit of a tough time with their three point shooting and they turned the power for eleven times per. Contest BUT i think that they're really going to meet their match here against Sex AS SEC unc woman ten away from home line teams to shooting north of thirty four and a half percent from the. Outside texas second hones say a super up tempo, team BUT i think that they're going to be very. Efficient take it to a woman to a team that just don't think is on their.
LEVEL.
Seb my total one forty three and a. Half i'm going to be willing to lay up to fifteen or With texas, second take this one forty, two one forty two and a half OVER seb sixty nine seven seventy on the card we now had out To denver or Col.
Ryder this is From.
Ballerina you've got you see San diego taking On, michigan And michigan does find themselves as a two and a half point. Favority your total On schame it is one forty two and a half to a one forty. Three in with old San, DIEGO i did set them as a two point. FAVORITE i like you see San diego all right on the money. Line this is A michigan squad that has just struggled with the turnovers all season, long three and twenty eighth in terms of turnovers on a pur possession.
Basis you see San.
Diego they're second in the country in terms of turnovers force on a purposession, basis and with Any wolf watts a lot of gold and it is nice that they combined for north of sixty and a half rebounds per. Game but The, wolverines they do a lot upon us to grab about twenty other mis shots as an offensive rebound that does rank well outside the top one twenty five in all of college. Basketball San diego they've been over all about two hundred and fiftieth with regards to rebound, percent so that's been a little bit of an issue for. Them but, still this is A San diego team that they're just so efficient with regards to their, offense and they're just so good on. Defense the top twenty five team turns of points allowed on a purposession, basis and not only do they force a love, turnovers they don't turn it over. Themselves they're a top ten team in terms of taking care of the. Ball heat And gray leads all of college basketball with regards to steals force per game with about three point two to three point three seals per. Game and then initially he's being able to shoot our near forty percent for three points with eleven points per, contest and he Wanted Tate jones nineteen a half, points five and a half, boards three and emphasis absolute statutes. Suffer tyler McGee shoots thirty eight and a half percent from three point, shit it's not A michigan team that necessarily does the world's great. Job i'll be able to guard the three point line. Sometimes this is A San diego team that will give up a few open looks from three points as, well but they've been getting better and better at that as the season. Goes Launtry donaldson on the flip side For michigan thirty plus points per. CONTEST i thirty three point, shooter shutter off the. Bench he's able to shooting north a thirty eight percent for three and etands right around about six foot. Eight you've been able to have no. Barrier burdnine shoot forty percent from the outside. Himself but this is A michigan team that in games played at home they allowed opponents to shoot thirty three percent for. Three to their, credit that actually went down to thirty percent in a road slide shoots car. Venue but this is A Uc San diego team THAT i think is going to be able to generate those, turnovers be able to turn that defense into, offense get the job done against A michigan team that certainly has a size, advantage but they just don't do a great job with. Reguards they're a perimeter play of being able to take care of the ball generate, good clean. POSSESSIONS i think that that's going to be the difference in this. GAME i did sell my total at a one forty, four SO i do like the over AND i do LIKE Uc San diego all right on the money, Line so seventy one some seventy two on the. Card you've Got TEXAS a AND m taking On, yale And yale does find themselves as a seven to a seven a half point, underdog don't As game three one thirty eight and a half to a one thirty nine a Half and With, YALE i did set them as an underdog a six a half, Points so you're at some. Plus i'm going to be willing to take those. Points you do have A yale squad that has been in the top ten in all of college basketball in terms of points per possession away from All TEXAS a AND m and games played away from. Home they are three hundred and forty eighth with their two point shooting percentage overall outside the top three are with your three point shooting, percentage your three point shooting percentage actually goes up to a more like a thirty three and a half percent mark when they're away from. Home you do Have Waye taylor along With Draike, phelips who have both been able to give you fifteen plus points per contest in the back, court and the sexas a And. Mt mansolete remarkable at being able to generate second chances here number one in all of college basketball in terms of percentage of the mid shots that do become an offensive, Rebound so a lot of credit. There as you've had the Like Savan Anderson, Garcia Henry, coleman guys like this all being able to haul in their five plus rebounds per. Game AND i really liked by Seeing owt Fur all pain this year five board signed a half points per, contest so he's been rock solid on that. Front but with This yale, bunch you've got one of the more underrated players in all of college, basketball And Nick. Townsend townsend sands about six foot seven fifteen at points seven half ports and he shoots forty nine percent from three. Points John Paul kidtis nineteen, points eighty nine percent free throw, shooter forty one percent three point. Shooter you've been able to get really good production Off Casey, simmons who began his career or right north user and eight and a half points on nearly thirty nine percent three point shooting as well as A yale team that's just so. Bounced they do give up about fifteen points more per one of our possessions when they leave home rather than when they are at don but a top eighty unit with reguards to opponent's two point shooting. Percent they do a relatively solid job but being able to keep teams off the free throw line as. Well they're very efficient with their own. Offense they only turn the ball for ten times for. CONTEST i guess The TEXAS a AND m team that they have been a top fifty to five team with regards to turn off sports on a per possession, Basis but do you think They yale keeps a clean. Ear yale has also been a top thirty team with reguards of defensive rebound percentge as. Well they're only allowing opponents the grab about twenty three and a half percent of their misshots as an offensive. Rebound still think THAT amm gonna get plenty of second and third, chances THEN i do think that this is going to be close enough for late game felling and it can be a little bit to the detriment Of TEXAS a AND m as this is AN a AND m squad that right now they are shooting about sixty nine a half percent the free thlying outside the top two sixty in off of college. Basketball so did some outline at six a. Half we'll take someven plus year With yale And i'm in on the over some my total AT a one to forty and a HALF seb seventy, three seventy four on the CARD bcunby you do battle From denver and right now WITH byu they are about a too and a half point favorite across a board total game between one forty five and a half to a one forty six a. Half and WITH, BYU i did set them as a favorite of five and a half. POINTS i am going to be willing to allay the number FOR. VCU i think that they're going to have a tough time adjusting to the. Elevation. NOW vcu is fifth in the country turns points allowed on a purpossession basis one of the best teams in the country at being able to generate. sALS and this is A byu team that if they do have a massive, kryptonite it is the fact that they allow a lot from three points shoot on forty second and upon its three point shooting percent THAT i accept to you thirty eight seven and a half percent in a roadside shitch core. Venue and THIS vcu team they do allow about thirteen points more per one hour possessions when they leave. Home away from, home they do allow upon us to shoot thirty two and a half percent from the outside AND byu sixteenth in the country with their road three point shooting percentage at north of thirty seven a.
Half percent from.
Three AND i do believe That Richie saunders is going to be the best player in this. Game sixteen plus points per, contest shot north of forty three percent from three points this. Season now you do have a guy like A Max sholga who shoots just below forty percent from three fourteen plus points some plus. Rebounds he's A Satgeet suffer And joe bamasil as be able to give you five boards fourteen points and FOR, vcu out of their top five, scores all but one of them do give you at least four rebounds per. Game been very impressed By Jack, clark by the way guy sayings about six foot, eight six foot. Nine he's shot in conference play north of forty percent for three conference play about eleven points five plus rebounds per. Game SO i do like what he's able to bring to the. Table but THIS byu team has been a top twenty team with the guards to rebound percentage as. Well kipakita has done a nice show being able to hall in there about eight. Rebounds bring Muat meg is able to give you a bit of something down. Low he's been a little bit hit or missed for the. Scene But fusani Troy ore is able to give you about five and a half rebounds bring having something like a Trayvon nell who's able to shoot forty three percent from three. POINTS i do believe in this spot is going to win out for A byu team that's used to the ELEVATION vcu is. NOT i think that that's going to play a really big role in this. Game AND i do think THAT byu finds way to be able to eat this one. Out did's on my toal one forty five and a half, again such a good defense with HIS vcu. Bunch so here at a one forty six plus In on the other, End i'm going to be willing to lay with B byu in things up with some seventy five to seventy. Six on the card Is montana and they're going to be playing Against. Wisconsin wisconsin and sixteen and a half to a teen point. Favorite Your tolens team between one fifty one a half to a one fifty. Two and With, WISCONSIN i did set them as a sixty and a half point. Favorite safety plus does become my bypoint On. Montana, Now montana is gonna get handled on the glass in terms of percent of their. Misshots to become an offensive rebound outside the top three thirty five to do all of college, Basketball Joel, prigin he is able to give the team about five and a half or so rebounds per, game saying six foot, five he is the lone guy on the. Roster it gives You north a four point one rebounds per. Game but Free John sawyer at six foot, eight he gives you a good, versatility brilliant on a lot of. Rebounding but you know what he's been able to throw in there in that neighbor about nine points per, contest three point nine rebounds that with his, size he does shoot north of forty percent for three And Blake moore does give you more he does shoot forty one a half percent from the. Outside BUT i do like this total under BECAUSE i do believe that for This montana, team they're gonna have a little bit of a tough time Against wisconsin squad that has been pretty solid at not allowing a lot of second and third chance opportunities. Themselves they are fifty seventh with reguards their defensive rebound. Percent this is A wisconsin team that does see a little bit of a dive with their three point percent when they do go away from home as. Well This wisconsin team has John tonjay who's they'll been able to give you nineteen points per contest at that clunker in The Big ten title, game but other than that has been rock. Solid but Sol wisconsin only shooting about thirty three and a half percent from three points in a road Slide Shoitch core, venue but their three point shooting defense it has been able to travel relatively. Well and this is A montana team as very content to take a lot of. Threes For, wisconsin they allow wanteds to only shoot about thirty two point two percent from the outside in a road slide shooch cor. Venue and For, wisconsin you do Have Nolan winter is able to give you five boards about ten points per. Game he shoots in the mid thirties from three points seven. Foot Steven crawl is able to give you two an half assist per game as. WELL i do think That montana can have a little bit of a tough time holding on with. That BUT i do think that guys Like Brandon, Whitney Kai johnson combining for about twenty points per game And Money williams great name three assists thirteen points per game for A montana team that they know we turn the ball over about eleven times per. Contest wisconsin very clean with the, well but they're not going to generate a lot of turnovers as. WELL i do think that they do just enough to be able to hold in this. Game and for This montana, team they've actually been a top twenty team in terms of their own two point shooting percent as. WELL i do think that this is a total that has gone up a little bit BECAUSE i do think that this is going to be a little bit more of a control. Game we have seen This wisconsin team start to play a little bit slower here in the back half of the. Season they did make a lot of shots AGAINST. UCLA i don't think that that's going to be the case, here but do you think that Was? Wisconsin they should be a solid sized. Favorite they, said we've gotten just a sco too far here semi line at sixte and a, Half so at seventeen, Plus i'm gonna be we won't take the points With montana And i'm in on the under as. Well SO'M i told the one forty eight and a. Half and that'll wrap things up for The thursday edition of Seeps, out part of THE vs And family.
