Banks are warning their customers to be cautious of advertisements promising significant discounts on debt repayments without clarifying that they are actually referring to debt review or debt counselling.
While debt review can indeed help to manage debt, it also has serious implications such as losing access to credit and incurring the payment of upfront fees.
