Manufacturing production in South Africa (SA) decreased by 2,8% in February compared with February 2025.
The largest negative contributions were made by the following divisions food and beverages by - 4,5% and contributing -1,1 percentage points; While wood and wood products, paper, publishing and printing by -9,7% and contributing - 1,0 percentage point) with basic iron and steel, non-ferrous metal products, metal products and machinery by - 3,6% and contributing -0,8 of a percentage point.
