SA’s fuel levy relief extended as global oil prices continue to pressure domestic fuel costs

View descriptionShare

South Africa’s National Treasury and the Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources have extended the temporary fuel‑levy relief to June 2026. This follows the $0.18 relief announced in March, which provided limited short‑term relief to households amid rising fuel prices triggered by the Middle East conflict.
