The Director of Infrastructure and Energy at the African Union Commission, Dr Kamugisha Kazaura, says resilient transport systems and stable energy infrastructure are the backbone of Africa’s economic transformation, regional integration and industrial development. He adds that strengthening these sectors is essential to unlocking trade, boosting competitiveness and improving livelihoods across the continent.
