Kenya has concluded negotiations on a trade agreement with China, following a preliminary deal announced two months ago that would allow the East African nation duty-free access to the Chinese market.
The agreement is expected to grant East African nations duty-free access to up to 98% of their export products, opening significant opportunities in one of the world's largest markets. Meanwhile, Kenya is also grappling with fuel shortages as the ongoing Iran conflict disrupts global oil supply.
