Understanding the Difference between Adversity and a Challenge

View descriptionShare
My goal for myself and anyone listening to this podcast is to be as well-rounded as possible so when life presents us with whatever opportunities or challenges it does – we can handle it. Well-Rounded to me means working on physical fitness, mental fitness, being resilient, having good relationships, finding harmony with my work and private life and ensuring I find plenty of time to develop myself as well. If we’re not well-rounded then we miss out on opportunities that come our way and worse, when challenges come, we get knocked off our feet and don’t always know how to stand back up. If I can build us, you and I, into well-rounded people then I have taken a step toward Building Better Humans and that’s a movement I can be proud of. Every time I am challenged I view it as a chance to grow. Every time I have win in life I view it as something I worked towards. It was never just luck because luck isn’t something we control and I don’t want to give my power up in that regard.
