Jim & Mary Beatty are celebrating 70 Years of Marriage on Boerne Radio 103.9 FM as heard on March 14th.  The official anniversary date is March 17th, St. Patrics Day.

Host Baron Wiley interviews Jim and Mary Beatty as they celebrate 70 years of marriage. Joined by their daughter Rita Kellogg, the conversation covers their move to Texas in 1962, how they met at a dance in 1954, and the humor and faith they credit for their long marriage. They discuss Mary’s work as a bookkeeper and raising three daughters, Jim’s work in the steel industry and later running Dynamic Diet and Health Foods stores in San Antonio for about 30 years, and their love of Hank Williams and classic music. Mary shares surviving stage-four cancer twice through faith, and encourages sharing the Gospel.
