Champion Volleyball once again completes the program sweep, with the varsity winning 3-1 over Alamo Heights. Boerne High completed the sweep against John Jay with no set lost between freshman, JV, and Varsity. And a big game for Ava Seamans, as she recorded her 500th career kill in what was a big accomplishment for the senior.

Join us tonight for the Boerne Radio Coaches Show, live from 28 Songs Brewhouse and Kitchen. You can get your hands on a $10.39 chili dog with fries or tots for dinner, as Makenna Henson, the first all-American academic water polo player at Boerne High talks her success, and Coach Brett Sawyer, on his bye week with the Boerne Greyhounds, comes on and talks about the first half of the season. You can listen here on Boerne Radio and the free Boerne Radio App.

Speaking of football, Champion’s got one more game before their bye week. They’ll be on the road to play Lockhart… but coverage starts at 5 with Fired Up Friday then pregame at 6:30 here on Boerne Radio this Friday.

The Astros lost game one of the AL Wild Card Series to the White Sox, 6-3. They face elimination today in game two… that game beginning at 4 again on Peacock.
