Boerne Radio Sports! 

You get a W! And you get a W! I feel like Oprah today- and let me tell you why. 

We’ll start with Champion water Polo teams- the girls beat Canyon, easy, 18-9 and they are back in the regional tournament. Moments later the boys game began as they faced Churchill and won 24-14… you would’ve thought that was a football score. Anyways, both teams are back in the regional tournament!

Unfortunately in this scenario, however, one team did have to lose and it was Boerne Champion. A hard-fought regional quarterfinal game against their friends at Boerne High. The score was a close 10-7, and the Greyhounds go to the regional tournament this weekend. But a class act after as both schools were seen shaking hands.

If you’re an Aggies fan, Gig ‘em! Your Texas A&M team is bowl-bound, meaning the football team is so good this year that they are eligible to at least play in a postseason bowl game if not the playoffs. In the 6 games they played they haven’t lost any and are #4 in the nation.

Speaking of football we have action tomorrow here on Boerne Radio. Coverage starts at 6:30 from Comalander Stadium for Champion vs MacArthur, before kickoff at 7. That’s tomorrow night here on the station.
