And it was on this date in 1964 that the first Ford Mustang rolled out.  The base price was 2,368 dollars.  Ford sold 417 thousand cars in its first year.   And right now, Bird Imports here in Boerne has a Silver 1971 Ford Mustang Coupe with Black Interior for just $79,000.

Miss Constance, the beloved children’s librarian who has been at Patrick Heath Public Library more than 20 years, is set to retire. She first began as a youth services assistant, but quickly became a staple in the kids’ department with her weekly story time. The library will be hosting an open house for her on April 13th from 9 to 11 to wish her well, but you’ll still be able to hear her read children's stories every Saturday morning at 7:45 with Classics with Miss Contance here on Boerne Radio.

The Boerne Middle School North Choir had an incredible showing at UIL this past week. The two sections of the Non-Varsity Treble Choir scored good for sight-reading, with section B scoring excellent in their concert and Section A scoring good. The Non-Varsity Treble-Bass choir scored superior in their concert and excellent in sight-reading. Way to go hounds! 

It is the 2nd week of the month so that means it’s Bulky Item and brush collection week - your trash day is the day to put out the big stuff too big for the can.  If its brush, make sure it’s chopped and tied up.
