Winter break means no rest. The Greyhound girls basketball team took a big win at home over Alamo Heights. By a final score of 67-26, and yes, every kid listening to this is going crazy that I just said 67. Boerne is 14-5, and 5-1 in district 26 this season. They sit in 2nd place while Wagner runs the district still undefeated. Their next game is in tournament play, the 29th against Medina Valley.
The Spurs will hit the hardwood tonight as the Thunder come to town. Spurs are 21-7 in the west and currently hold the 2nd place spot. And some sources say this could be a rivalry the world of basketball witnessed in the next coming years. It should be a good one. Tip off is at 7 from the Frost Bank Center.
