Boerne High tennis, right off the win against Champion two days ago, is right back to work today- the regional semifinals will be played at the Blossom Tennis Center in San Antonio against Sharyland. 

Tomorrow the Champion water polo teams will be in action off of their regional quarterfinal wins- it's the semis for them now as they travel to San Antonio and the Southwest ISD Aquatic Center. The girls will face Brennan at 3:30 and the boys against Taft at 6:30. 

Back to tonight as the final push for the playoffs is on- Geneva volleyball will be in the Sparkling City by the Sea, known as Corpus Christi to take on Incarnate Word in a huge district matchup. The match will begin at 6pm. 

Also tonight, and here on Boerne Radio, week 8 of high school football as the Champion Chargers take the short drive into San Antonio to face MacArthur at Comalander Stadium. Also, we mentioned yesterday how Texas A&M was bowl-eligible, but right behind them at the #7 spot on this week’s AP Poll are the Red Raiders of Texas Tech. These guys have been having themselves a season so far, going 6-0. I’ll tell you, if not a single Texas school, let alone 2, manage to get into the college football playoff, it would be a shame. But, we are lightyears away from that… let’s see how long Tech can keep it up.
