District play has begun in Boerne ISD girls basketball - and your Lady Chargers come out on top big time against Veterans Memorial 73-34.  Champion is now 9-1 overall to start the season.  You’re Boerne Lady Greyhounds took on their first district challenger in Warren and they come up short 51-43.  And a reminder your Lady Greyhounds are now playing 5A - some other teams on the horizon include Smithson Valley, Alamo Heights, Pieper, and New Braunfels.

On the boys side your Greyhounds traveled to New Braunfels and lost by 8 - 41-49.  They too are playing 5A Teams and so far they are 6-2… it’ll be interesting to see how many Greyhound Football players will shed the cleats, and lace up the hightops once their season ends.  

But it doesn’t end!  The Greyhound make it to Round 3 and will face Victoria West who beat up Alice all the way to the moon…56-13.  Victoria West is 9-2 for the season…and the thought is they’ll probably play on Friday after Thanksgiving at a San Antonio location.  And one more reminder, Boerne beat Victoria West back in mid-October 50-33.
