Heard here on Boerne Radio last night, the Greyhounds for a chance to become Area Champions had to get through Edcouch-Elsa… but that wasn’t too hard. It was all Greyhounds the first half… and the second for that matter. By the end it was 31-0, until Edcouch hit a 53-yard field goal, and Boerne scored one more touchdown. Final was 38-3… Greyhounds are area champions. Ryan Hooper was your Jon Wayne player of the game. The Greyhounds will now face the winner of Victoria West and Alice… that game taking place tonight at 7.

The Spurs had a massive comeback victory without Wemby and Vassell. 126-118 Spurs win, and that improves them to 8-8. 

Speaking of the Spurs, get to know the name ‘Project Marvel.’ That is the name of the plan to create an entertainment district downtown and ramp up buildings to house the Spurs, replace the Institute of Texan Cultures, and modernize the Alamodome. The designs look intriguing… we might be seeing it in San Antonio very soon.
