We now know where each remaining team will land in round 1 of the baseball playoffs. 

The Boerne Greyhounds drew the Kennedy Rockets as their round 1 opponent. This series will be spread out from Thursday to Saturday, if needed. Games 1 and 2 will start at 7pm, and if it goes the distance, game 3 is Saturday at noon.

The Champion Chargers will play a familiar district peer in the Hays Hawks from Buda. The dates, times, and if any doubleheaders will occur is still a mystery at this point. More to come when the information becomes available.

The Comfort Bobcats will also be making a UIL postseason appearance. They will battle Jim Ned Thursday and Friday. Game 1 will be at Jim Ned at 6, then Games 2 and 3 will be played on the same night if needed. Friday the games will be at Comfort- a 4pm start for game 2, then game 3 is a half hour following the other. 

The Gunslingers are now on a 2-game win streak with a victory over Frisco, 54-52 Friday night. Frisco was 4-0 and the Gunslingers granted them their first loss of the year. The Gunslingers are 2-3 and welcome Frisco to the Freeman Saturday night. 

In Major League and Minor League Baseball over the weekend:

The Rangers capped off a series win against the Reds by a score of 4-3, with an inside the park home run by rookie Wyatt Langford.

The Astros won their series against the Rockies, 8-2 on Sunday.

The San Antonio Missions, known as the San Antonio Oat Milkers Sunday… defeated Wichita 3-1. They split the series 3-3.
