Your Boerne Greyhounds will face Navasota in Del Valle outside of Austin tonight at 7 - a game we’ll carry right here on Boerne Radio.  Game 2 will be on Saturday at 1 and if they split, game 3 is immediately after. Champion is also in action tonight against MacArthur in game 1 of that series. They will play at Champion tonight, then Northeast Sports Park games 2 and 3. Game 2 is tomorrow- we’ll have that for you here on the station. Games 3 for both series will be a toss-up depending on if a team finishes the series first or not. We’ll keep you posted.

Some more students continue to shine athletically: Jordan Ballin of the Chargers has been selected to play in the THSBCA All-Star Game on June 15th in Round Rock, and Layla Weaks from Boerne High School has signed with Angelo State to pursue a passion for rodeo! Talk about “bringing home the bacon…” phenomenal things are taking place.

And bonjour, because if your name is ‘Victor’ or ‘Victoria,’ then you can get a free ticket to the Missions game on May 29th. In honor of Victor Wembanyama winning Rookie of the Year, the Missions are hosting a theme night- aside from the free ticket, you also receive a free order of french fries. You also will get the same perks if you bring a French Bulldog or Poodle to the game… I think you get the idea.
