Geneva Football took a little drive to Waco this past weekend and competed in the TAPPS 7-on-7 football tournament and took home the championship from the bronze bracket. The Eagles are getting it done even in the offseason. 

Speaking of, we are just a little over a month away from the start of the high school football season.

You remember a few years ago when Kawhi Leonard wanted out from the Spurs, and there was a controversy around it?- Well, college baseball may have its equivalent. A little less than 24 hours after losing the College World Series as A&M’s head coach, then calling a reporter ‘selfish’ when asked about a coaching job at UT, Jim Schlossnagle has gone from Aggie to Longhorn head coach, as multiple sources have reported. Fans of both teams have been either celebrating or bashing Schlossnagle for his decision and behavior towards it… Either way, in a newly-aligned SEC conference where he will have to meet his old counterparts while wearing burnt orange, Texas has set up a $2.7 million buyout for his contract.

I mentioned the Spurs earlier… Speaking of them… the NBA Draft starts tonight in what will be the first-ever 2-night draft. San Antonio has the 4th and 8th picks, and the order is still a toss-up, according to many analysts. It all starts tonight at 7.
