A big day for the Lady Greyhounds basketball team as two representatives will play in the Texas Girls Coaches Association All-Star Game at Arlington Lamar High School tonight at 7. Chloe Donnell and Jenna Ruede have been selected to take part. The game features some of the best basketball players from around the state from 1-4A schools. 

Aggie fans, if you’re still disappointed about last night’s game, you might want to cover your ears. As you’ve probably heard by now, Texas A&M became the College World Series runner-up, losing to Tennessee, 6-5. The game was closer than one might think- both teams recorded 13 hits and 1 error… The Aggies had only scored 1 run through the first 7 innings and happened to make it interesting in the 9th… but Tennessee had already built a comfortable lead in the 7th with 3 runs… A&M’s last minute effort wasn’t quite enough. Tennessee takes home their first title in school history.
