As heard on Boerne Radio last night, a football bi-district match between Boerne Champion and Southwest. Win or go home… Hey, hats off to Champion- they gave Southwest a fighting chance… but it wouldn’t be enough. Case in point the Dragons got their breath of fire extinguished. The final was 41-14. Julian Navarette, who started the game, had 4 TD passes. We are awaiting the winner of a game tonight to determine the area round matchup. 

The Comfort Bobcats also made the playoffs and even hosted a first round game. Unfortunately, there was not much luck for them as Tidehaven swooped the game, 62-7. 

Tonight, Boerne Geneva will be at Cornerstone Christian School to face Bishop Gorman in the first round. Kickoff will be at 6pm. Oh and by the way, the kicker- Parker Eiland, now holds a school record with 100 career kicking points! He can also tack on a few more points tonight in the game. Hats off to Parker. 

And make sure you tune your dials for the Greyhound football game tonight. Corpus Christi Ray makes the journey from I-37 west to Boerne ISD Stadium. Bi-district round for these two. Coverage starts at 5 with Fired Up Friday before pregame at 6:30. That’s tonight here on Boerne Radio.
