Out to Omaha and the College Baseball World Series- Texas needed to stay alive to get to the round of 4, and SEC counterpart Georgia Bulldogs had their number this entire postseason. And unfortunately it stayed that way… Texas got shutout 2-0 and were eliminated from the World Series. Now cover your ears, Longhorn fans… Oklahoma advanced and now play Georgia in another double elimination round to get to the championship series. They play tonight at 6, and Camden Johnson, third baseman and Boerne High alum, is batting 2nd in the order. If you’re a Greyhound fan, he may be your player to root for!

The FIFA World Cup Group Play Stage is still going on… if you’re watching for international players, Lionel Messi had a hat trick for Argentina against Algeria as Argentina won 3-0. France also defeated Senegal, 3-1. England plays Croatia today at 3, and then tomorrow Canada plays Qatar and Mexico plays South Korea. 

Also a big weekend in golf as the U.S. Open is on deck. JJ Spaun won it last year and is 9th of the top 200 players a year later. Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, and Cameron Young are your top 3 heading into the tournament.
