It’s Tuesday February 10th.
And some special Boerne folks were born on this date…we start with Katie Detmer over at the Phyllis Browning Company, Matthew Kittrell owner of the Beehive Hair Studio on South Main, and Paula Beaton with Day 1 Bags, one of our great non-profits founded here in Boerne.
City Staff broke ground on much needed improvements to the parking lot off of Plant Avenue, which is the only public parking lot near River Road. Jeff Carroll, the City of Boerne’s Director of Engineering and Mobility, says the updates will improve access, safety, and the overall visitor experience, benefitting everyone who uses it. The upgrades include: new asphalt, curbing, and striping, a new entrance and exit, and dark-sky compliant lighting. The Cibolo Lot was closed yesterday to begin construction, and is expected to last about 3 months.
And with that let’s check in now with Dusty Rhodes with a look at Boerne Radio Traffic…
