Texas Department of Public Safety and the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office have released a name involved in the fatal accident that took place on Monday on I-10 near mile marker 524 just south of Comfort that took the lives of three people, 23 year old Giselle Cristobal and two little boys ages 3 and 4… as a result of her GMC Sierra pickup truck was parked on the right side of the roadway and a tractor-trailer struck the rear end of her vehicle. The driver of the pickup, a 31-year-old woman was transported to a San Antonio medical center, while another 2 year girl was airlifted. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.
Hill Country Family Services received a significant donation from Boerne ISD’s canned food Thriller event! Teachers dressed as minions and students rose from the grave, dancing to Michael Jackson’s iconic hit. In total the district collected 1044 pounds of canned goods, helping restock the shelves and bless local families.
And today is the last Thursday of the month, so the Boerne Bookshop is hosting the Wine, Writing and Casual Fun event tonight from 7 to 9:30. Anyone 21 plus can bring their creativity and $20 and write to their hearts content. Just bring yourself, and the Boerne Bookshop will bring the rest!
