It’s Thursday November 5th.

It was this date in 1955 in Hill Valley, California that Dr. Emmett Brown slipped and hit his head, allowing him to conceive the idea for the flux capacitor.

I’m Baron Wiley.

A 22-year-old Pipe Creek man was killed yesterday in a head-on crash on Highway 46 near the Bandera and Kendall County Line. Texas DPS says Levi Timothy James was driving east around noon when his Mazda Miata crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Mitsubishi Outlander.  James died in the crash. The driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital, but DPS has not released that person’s condition. DPS is asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information that may assist investigators to contact the Texas Department of Public Safety at 210-531-2284.

Myboernenews did a deep dive on the updated water, wastewater and reclaimed water rates that took effect last month. While each utility has its own rate structure, monthly bills generally include a fixed customer charge and a charge based on water consumption. The monthly charges will fluctuate based on how much you use, and customers outside of the city will pay a 20% rate modifier. You can take a look at the individual pricing brackets at myboernenews.com

It’s Diva Night here in Boerne. From 5 to 9 you can enjoy extended shop hours down Main Street on the Hill Country Mile, plenty of refreshments and music. Make sure to check in at Main Plaza or Gunpowder & Cabernet right at 5PM to snag your boa, tiara, reusable swag bag, and event map.

DeVino Cellars also has Ladies Night, and Tapatio Springs hosts Trivia Night.
