Today is the last day of school for all of Boerne ISD and remember that all students will be released early. Elementary schools will be out for the year at 11:35, while Middle and High Schoolers will be saying their goodbyes at 12:35. The Seniors of Champion will hold their graduation ceremony tonight at 8, which you can catch live at the Boerne ISD Stadium or on the new GVTC Channel 16. 

And here are some of the Boerne ISD highlights from the past couple days. The PTO of Fair Oaks Ranch Elementary held a ribbon cutting for their brand new outdoor classroom called the Barn. The Fabra Elementary Student Council was selected as a Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) Student Leadership Award Recipient. And The San Antonio Express News declared their 2023-24 Coach of the Year to be Boerne High School Girls Soccer Coach Jeremy Shannon.

The Boerne Police Department is currently hiring a new Probationary Dispatcher in their Telecommunications Department. If you have incredible service skills, care about the community and are calm under pressure, you would be an incredible candidate for the position.
