Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon for Civil Rights says it is "ludicrous" to suggest the Justice Department should be independent from the president, adding that it is the role of the DOJ to carry out the president's priorities. Speaking to Joe Mathieu and Kailey Leinz on Bloomberg Balance of Power, Dhillon says the DOJ is reviewing state voter rolls for potential ineligible registrations, and referring suspected cases for potential prosecution.
