Today marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities, and as
we continue to observe 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against
Women and Children in partnership with Lady Liberty SA - this
morning’s interview will focus on how Sexual Gender Based
Violence affects women and children with disabilities.
A new national gender-based violence study conducted by the
Human Sciences Research Council reveals that over 31% of women
with disabilities have experienced sexual or physical violence in
their lifetime.

We chat to Nicola Irving - Associate in the Social Impact Department
at Norton Rose Fulbright, a partner law firm for Lady Liberty SA.
