Winnie Ntshaba has returned to SABC1’s soapie Generations: The Legacy.

Twelve years after leaving the show, she is stepping back into the iconic role of Khethiwe Buthelezi.

She had already built experience in theatre and appeared in productions including Jozi Streets, Yesterday and Shreds and Dreams before landing the role that would make her a household name.

Khethiwe’s journey from a timid, conservative village girl to a confident entrepreneur and the face of La Chocolata became one of the memorable stories of the original Generations era - and now, she is back, at a difficult point in her life, with a very different reality waiting for her on the soapie.
