The Tour Of Duty Concert 21 December 1999 in Dili, East Timor for the Australian troops serving with the peace keeping International Force for East Timour (INTERFET) was compared by comedy duo Roy & HG and featured Gina Jeffreys, John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, Doc Neeson (ex-Angels), James Blundell, The Living End, Dili Allstars and RMC Band (Royal Military College Duntroon). The concert attended by 4,000 troops and local East Timorese was televised in Australia and raised funds and sponsorships for CARE Australia activities in East Timor.

Gina Jeffreys is a celebrated Australian country music singer-songwriter and radio presenter on NSW Central Coast and she has releasing 9 albums with most charting in the Top 20 albums. She is a multi-award winner and has won Golden Guitar Country Music Awards (CMAA) for Female Vocalist of the Year 1994, 1995, 1996, 1999 and Video Clip of the Year 2002 and Hands Of Fame imprinted 2007; APRA Awards for Most Performed Country Work 1998 & 2002; Mo Awards annual Australian entertainment industry awards for Female Country Entertainer of the Year 1993, 1994, 1996 & 1998 and Australian Independent Record Label Association Award (AIR Award) for Best Independent Country Release 2007.

The album “Tour of Duty Concert 1999” has been recorded by sound engineer Grant Walsh. The album sales are fund raising for the Australian Road Crew Association (ARCA), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping ROAD CREW during hard times and serious illness through their welfare program. Many artists have generously given their permission for the release of the sound engineers’ desk tapes of their live performances that make up a diverse collection of some truly unique historical releases.
