v Spy v Spy is an Australian band from Sydney formed in 1981 by Craig Bloxom (bass/vocals), Cliff Grigg (drums) and the late Michael Weiley (guitar/vocals). They became known for tackling social issues through their music.
The band has had a few line-up changes over the years and continues performing today led by Cliff Grigg (drums/vocals), with Paul Coxon (bass/vocals) and Paul Elliott (guitar/vocals). Their next gigs are: Fri 1 Sept Heritage Hotel, Bulli; Sat 2 Sept Avoca Beach Theatre; Fri 15 Sept Oaks Hotel Albion Park.
The album ”Live At The Prince Of Wales” was recorded by sound engineer Mark Woods. The album sales are fund raising for the Australian Road Crew Association (ARCA), a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping ROADIES during hard times and serious illness through their welfare program. Many artists have generously given their permission for the release of the roadies desk tapes of their live performances that make up a diverse collection of some truly unique historical releases.
