Today’s guest is Ali Kershner, former Stanford Women’s Basketball Head of Performance and currently working at Art Of Coaching with Brett Bartholomew. Ali is known and respected in the coaching world for her career as a collegiate athlete at Duke before entering the world of performance as a coach at Kansas before moving to Stanford. 

 

In this episode, Ali discusses working at the two prestigious schools of Kansas and Stanford, some of the challenges in College sports - in particularly the infamous Women’s March Madness bubble weight room topic, essentially switching careers after winning a National Championship to work at AOC, the value of lateral thinking for women in the industry and a whole lot more.

 

This episode has plenty of incredible insights for aspiring to veteran coaches, to physiotherapists wanting an in depth insight into the performance space and career progression in a typically male dominated industry.
