Anonymous met a lady last year and says everything was fine between them until she found a job in another province, a couple of months into their relationship. 

Her new job required her to have a car and he offered to finance a car on her behalf, something she refused but eventually agreed to it, however he ended up not getting the car as she was acting suspicious. 

Their relationship started fading away after all of this, and they haven’t really interacted since April. He now misses her and wonders if he should rekindle things with her.

What attitudes and behaviours are we allowing to continue in our homes, friendships and communities? How do men hold one another accountable before harmful behaviour escalates into violence? And how do we raise boys who understand consent, respect and equality?

Today, the men of Ask a Man move from giving relationship advice to confronting a national crisis that demands honesty, accountability and action from all of us.
