Anonymous, who has been with her current partner for about six years, says she always knew their relationship wouldn’t end in marriage.  She’s a writer and has written books about her past abusive relationships, which her partner has read. However, she says that whenever they argue, he brings up her previous partners, claiming he understands why they treated her that way.
