At just 20 years old, Isa Prins is fast ticking off significant footballing achievements.

The Wellington Olympic midfielder was the Central League's player of the year, and was also named player of the match after scoring in the Chatham Cup grand final.

He joins Adam Cooper to preview Saturday's National League final against Auckland City.

The pinnacle of domestic cricket in the summer, the 2025-26 Super Smash, begins on Boxing Day.

Both the Wellington Blaze and Firebirds begin their campaigns in Palmerston North on December 27, to meet Central Districts, before heading home to both host Auckland at the Basin Reserve two days later.

To preview their seasons, Adam Cooper was joined in studio by allrounders from both teams, Hannah Francis and Logan van Beek.

In January, Wellington's Ākau Tangi Sports Centre will play host to the Asia-Oceania qualifying tournament for next year's Men’s World Floorball Championships in Finland.

Between January 13-19, New Zealand is one of 10 teams competing with four spots from the region to head to Europe.

Adam Cooper spoke with New Zealand men's coach Christian Bertschinger about the team's preparation, and the significance of the event coming to the capital.

The Wellington Rugby Union has exited its 50% shareholding of the Hurricanes, with a group led by Upper Hutt developer Malcolm Gillies taking the stake in the Super Rugby franchise.

It follows several years of significant financial losses for the Hurricanes, something the WRFU had to stomach as a 50% owner.

Adam Cooper spoke to WRFU CEO Tony Giles on what this means for the union going forward.
