Dr. Harry Weisinger is an internationally recognised medical practitioner, optometrist, scientist and university professor. His research experience spans over 25 years across themes covering the effects of nutrition and dietary manipulation on eye health, as well as the regulation of blood pressure, body weight and body fat.
Dr. Harry graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Science in Optometry (B.Sc.) and went on to complete a Master of Science in Optometry (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in nutrition and neural development. He undertook post-doctoral fellowships in Experimental Physiology and Medicine, the National Institutes of Health (USA) and the Department of Food Science at RMIT University. Dr Harry completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) .
With a diverse array of medical expertise and special interests in nutrition and athletic performance, Dr. Harry’s professional experience and academic appointments are extensive. As well as co-founding an all-natural, plant-based Australian supplement company, Truth Origins, he sees patients in his own private health and high-performance clinic in Melbourne.
