Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has unveiled a new cabinet for his seventh term in office, dropping several senior ministers and long-serving officials, some of whom have been reassigned to advisory roles. Among the biggest changes, veteran Finance Minister Matia Kasaija was replaced by his former deputy, Henry Musasizi, as Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. Veteran politician Moses Ali also exited as Second Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of Government Business, with Crispus Kiyonga taking over the role. Museveni retained Jessica Alupo as Vice President, Robinah Nabbanja as Prime Minister, and First Lady Janet Museveni as Minister of Education and Sports.
