As the world marks, World Autism Day, families and communities worldwide are recognising the dignity and worth of all autistic people and advocating for policies that promote neuro-inclusive environments in health, education, workplaces, sports and other sectors. Globally, 1 in 127 people is diagnosed with autism, a lifelong neuro-developmental condition affecting social interaction, communication and behaviour.
