Ghana has repatriated 120 Nigerian nationals rescued from alleged cybercrime compounds, where they were reportedly trafficked and forced to work.
The repatriation follows a joint security operation, codenamed Operation Cyberhunt, which led to the seizure of laptops, mobile phones and other equipment. The operation was spearheaded by Ghana’s Cyber Security Authority in collaboration with local security and intelligence agencies and counterparts from Nigeria, the United Kingdom and the United States.
