Today is the last day of the "Aluta Continua: Samora Machel, Liberation Movements and the Unfinished Decolonial Project" symposium, which is taking place at Rhodes University in Makhanda, in South Africa's Eastern Cape province. Scholars, thinkers and Samora Machel's family members have been discussing what remains unfinished about Africa's liberation project. The two-day meeting comes forty years after the passing of Mozambique's first president and liberation icon.
