Africa's energy and infrastructure deficit remains one of the biggest obstacles to economic growth, industrialisation and regional trade. That challenge is now at the centre of discussions in Johannesburg, where policymakers, investors and industry leaders are meeting for the Continental Energy and Infrastructure Investment Forum. The forum is looking at how Africa can mobilise capital for critical infrastructure, expand energy access and develop projects that can support industrialisation and deeper economic integration across the continent. Unathi Batyashe spoke to Chiboni Evans, the convener of the Continental Energy and Infrastructure Investment Forum.
