Women judges from across the continent have gathered in Johannesburg, South Africa for the 2nd High-Level Meeting of Women Judicial Leaders of Africa.
The three-day meeting, hosted by the country's judiciary in partnership with the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Africa, comes as the continent marks 20 years since the adoption of the Maputo Protocol, a key legal framework aimed at protecting women’s rights.
