A humanitarian fundraising campaign has been launched to support women and other people affected by the war in Sudan. One of the campaigns, called "Save Wijdan's Heart, Save a Life", is raising funds for urgent medical treatment for a young person from South Darfur. The campaign is being run through a partnership between the Youth for Peace and Capacity Building Organization, or YPCB, and the humanitarian fundraising platform Aseel. The organisers say the challenge now is reaching people who can help turn the online campaign into practical support for Wijdan and her family.
