The Mozambican Association of United Health Workers (APSUSM) has threatened to bring health service in the country to collapse, unless the government agrees to pay them their end-of-year bonus.
This after the government announced that it cannot afford to pay the bonus in full, but will pay 40 per cent in two installments, one in January and one this February.
Last year, the government paid 50 per cent of the bonus to workers in the public administration.
