Africa faces many challenges, from conflicts and humanitarian crises to governance issues and climate change.

Regional and faith, based institutions are increasingly working together to address these challenges and promote peace, democracy, and sustainable development across the continent.

One such effort is the renewed Memorandum of Understanding between the African Union and the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM), aimed at strengthening cooperation on human rights, good governance, and integral human development.
