Time now for our profile interview here on The Discourse. Our guest today is a man whose journey through football has taken him from the creeks of Burutu in Nigeria's Delta State to the summit of African football. A former Super Eagles midfielder, he was part of Nigeria's triumphant 1994 Africa Cup of Nations-winning squad and enjoyed a distinguished club career with teams including BCC Lions and Altay of Turkey. Since hanging up his boots, he has remained deeply involved in the game as a coach, football administrator and outspoken advocate for reforms in Nigerian football. More recently, he has called for a long-term development blueprint for the sport, greater investment in local coaching, and the introduction of a pension scheme to protect players after retirement. Beyond football, he has also ventured into public service and politics, bringing the lessons of teamwork and leadership from the pitch into national development. Joining us now is former Super Eagles midfielder, and football administrator, Edema Fuludu. Mr Fuludu, welcome to The Discourse
