The National Election Board of Ethiopia says out of the targeted 1,138 constituencies, about 825 constituencies have declared election results. Vote counting continues following the country's 7th general election, which took place on June 1. Preliminary findings and final tallies are yet to be fully certified and announced by the National Election Board, However, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's ruling Prosperity Party is widely projected by political analysts to secure a sweeping landslide victory, maintaining its control over the federal parliament.
