South Africa is stepping up preparations for its leadership role in the Southern African Development Community (SADC), as the country's Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) hosts a three-day high-level Inter-departmental workshop with SADC Secretariat to align government priorities ahead of the country's SADC chairship. The session brings together senior government officials, state-owned enterprises, development finance institutions, and representatives from the SADC Secretariat in Gaborone, Botswana.
