US President Donald Trump will host leaders of Rwanda Paul Kagame and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Felix Tshisekedi in Washington on Thursday to sign what is being called a "historic peace and economic agreement."
Meanwhile ahead of the meeting clashes between the M23 rebel group and Congolese government forces, supported by coalition troops, broke out across South Kivu province escalating tensions in the eastern DRC.
